From Liverpool to Cologne. Two days on a coach where I was unable to sleep and we didn't stop frequently enough. Torture.
What's your worst travel experience?
Was at college at the time & went to Cardiff with a mate to check out the uni on an open day - I drove there and my mate was driving back. While we were there it started snowing. Heavily. We decided to leave earlier than planned but my mate lost control of the car on the motorway and we crashed into a barrier. Damage didn't seem too bad but turns out we'd knackered the steering rods so that one of the wheels was at a 45% angle.
Anyway, the blizzard meant that the M5 was now down to one lane so we would have faced god knows how long to be recovered. My mate was freaking out so I decided fuck it I'll drive the car which was no easy feat - especially in those conditions. Took us over 6 hours to get back home to Birmingham as we couldn't go more than about 30 without the car shooting off in one direction. Thing is the weather meant everyone was travelling about that speed so got away with it.
Once we got back I left him to explain to his cousin what had happened to the beloved motor he'd lent to us...
Is the euro overvalued ?
