Just got in. Barcelona should have been out of sight. That penalty decision was ridiculous as well. Still, they should win the second leg, even if Fabregas wasn't suspended.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

Guardian reporting Fabregas thinks he's out of the World Cup.
Gallas also likely out for the season.
How much will this match end up costing them?

Ballague was interviewing him on Cadena Ser and Cesc did say that he was fearing the worst in order to avoid being disappointed if he's given bad news tomorrow but didn't elaborate or mention the World Cup.

Very similar thing happened to me about 18 months ago, no real pain, just a dull tooth-ache like throbbing behind my shins, put it down to shin splints as I do alot of road running. After two weeks went to the hozzy for an xray, broken tibia.
Been all over the world but Anfield is still my home.

Shame that Arsenal got anything out of that game, as they were outclassed for the majority of it.

Arsenal weren't even in the same league as Barca regardless of what any of our press or medai bleat about them tomorrow.

Just watching Barca tonight, they deserve to win the Champions League above any other team left in it.

It would be a massive injustice if they don't make it to the semi's.

Did Colleydog actually say that?  He obviously wasn't listening to the same Talkshite as I was in Crouchy's first season with us.  When Peter was going through his baron spell for us, they castigated him with every game that he didn't score.  Spent 3 solid months giving the lad the a very hard time.

What they appear to forget is that Crouchy was a figure of fun when he joined Liverpool.  Rafa made him the player he is now.

How often do you see a team at the Emirates just pass the ball in pretty triangles, dominate the game, fanny about around the penalty area and refuse to just stick the fucking thing in the net?
Infuriating.

Honesty is the way to go.

Barcelona have won 6 trophies. It would of been no shame if they had won the match 2 or 3 nil or even by more. They should win the CL every season with that squad. Its full of quality players. The whole squad is the best squad in the world.

It was a lesson for Wenger on how that sort of football should be played. Quick passing and putting the passes into good areas. Guardiola has said its the best his side has played since he took over as manager of the club.

You sometimes just have to hold your hands up and not make excuses. We got outplayed but didn't lose.

They are a better team, no doubt about that. Until Arsenal win the championship and build a great team again, nothing can be said otherwise.

The draw perhaps wasn't deserved but if you don't take your chances..

In terms of both started with 11 players, only one set of 11 (10) soon took the piss out of the other set of 11.

If we don't find ourselves behind in this tie, then we will win because i fancy ourselves to score against Barcelona. I think our defence could cope better than Barcelonas.

Don't see what was wrong with that prediction. We conceded two goals yeah, but still scored two goals. Again, it was a prediction, they don't all come off.

Both defences were poor in the match. For little of what Arsenal did when they had the ball, when they went forward, they could of scored 3+ goals and that was with very little of the ball.

It will take a bit of luck or a great performance for Arsenal to win the tie. Barcelona are in charge of the tie and should win.

Arsenal have no chance now. They needed to take a lead to the Nou Camp, now they'll have to come out and attack Barca and will just get destroyed.

Well you admit that at least. A lot of Arsenal fans I know are saying how the draw was deserved and both teams were equals.

the teams were clearly not equals, but a draw was certainly deserved.  for everything Barca threw at Arsenal in the first twenty minutes they didn't score because they were profligate in front of goal and anything on target was matched by Almunia.  Walcott's shot should never have beaten their keeper, but it did.  the game was reffed fairly, it was clearly a penalty.  ergo, 2-2 was a fair result.

who will come in to replace Pique and Puyol? surely Barca will be weakened in defence.

Milito and Chygrinski (sp), Arsenal will probably have Campbell though so it's swings and roundabouts. As well as Iniesta being back and Arsenal missing Fabregas and possibly Arshavin.

Agree, but youd never know what will transpire in camp nou. an early goal by barca might kill arsenal off, especially without fabregas.
