Asterion Forlonge cannot go left handed over hurdles anyway. Sporting John to beat Envoi Allen tomorrow.
So bloody what? If you watch football to be absolutely miserable then go watch cricket.

Day 2

2:10

Henry De Bromhead is in fine form so far with 2 winners yesterday and I reckon he has a great chance with Minella Indo (NAP) in the RSA Chase. Minella Indo won the Albert Bartlett last year (over hurdles) so boasts festival form which is always handy. This combination (Rachael Blackmore/De Bromhead) is so hot right now and it looks to like they can win this race.

4:10

The cross country is such a weird race however I'm going to take on Tiger Roll who I think is far too short. Easyland was recently purchased by JP McManus so he can have a crack at this race once again (Remember Spotthedifference?). He is only a 6 year old but has won 5 of his last chases in France and that includes the cross country race at the December meeting round this course so he has valuable experience. He is certainly going to run a big race and I hope he can land the odds.  :thumbup

Conclusion

2:10 Minella Indo (NAP), 1 point win

4:10 Easyland 1 point win

That's my only bets for day 2. Good luck !

Gutted I missed out on Honeysuckle.

Willie's horses are running like crap. I'd stay away from them until further notice...

I'm sure its only temporary but best to wait now until he has a good winner.

Thank god for Epatante !

I live to fight another day.

Willie Mullins is having a poor festival so far.  I'll post my fancies for tomorrow later
I think he had a bad start two Or three years ago, didn’t have a winner until Thursday then ended up with 5 or 6.

Still it’s good to know I’m not the only one not firing yet!

Anyone know somewhere good in Cheltenham or Bristol to watch the match tomorrow night?

Good day with Ravenhill, would've been a great day if Kildisart got up! Anyway mine for tomorrow:

2:10 Minella Indo - simply I cant have Champs jumping and he's better than the rest!
2:50 Franco De Port, Eglantine Du Seuil, Top Moon & Black tears, cant be bothered writing up why for all!
4:50 Mick Pastor & Tronador - Mick Pastor for me looked savage the last day, also very much in the right hands for this race. Tronador has come from the same race Veneer of Charm did when winning this race for same owners, Gordon no doubt left lots to work on from that day and I'm expecting a big jump forward.
5:30 Israel Champ & Queens Brook - Israel champ could absolutely gallop these into submission, he's hard as nails and exactly what you need in this type of race. Queens Brook was well thought of on the pointing scene and romped home in her previous bumper, that man Codd on board too!

I'm absolutely mad keen on one in the Boodles tomorrow and cannot talk myself out of him; Repetitio. This lad has some absolutely rock solid form on his CV. In October he gave Sir Psycho 6lb and beat him into 3rd in a very warm race at Ludlow. The winner is officially rated 140 now and won a good race the last day. Sir Pyscho has lapped the field the last twice and 12/1 to win the best triumph in donkeys. In November he ran 3rd behind Allmankind and Botox Has, getting beat 9 lengths total and smashed Mick Pastor out of the park, a horse he's 5lb better off with tomorrow. Now I'll be the first to say novices improve at different rates, but there is no way on this planet he's a 14/1 shot.

The RSA chase is shaping up to be one hell of a race.  Mullins/Henderson & De Bromhead all have horses fancied in the market.

I'm still sticking with Minella Ido because Mullins is out of form and Henderson is a better hurdles trainer than a chaser though he has won the RSA a few times in the past.

Think you need to re-visit your view on Hendo mate. 6 Champion Chases, 6 Arkles, 2 Gold Cups & 3 RSAs. Hard to justify him being better over hurdles than fences  ;D

I know he's a great trainer but his better chasers usually go off at stupidly low odds so there's no value (example: Altoir).  His record if you look at the stats for profit/loss is not that great..

Queens brook and Easyland for me today after an unwelcome bout of seconditis

Easyland is at the top of the CC game and won easily here before, could well dethrone Tiger Roll.

Queens Brook has obvious claims and the assistance of JJ Codd.

There is another option. Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple.

Very impressive again. Great ride by Russell too.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

For any Irish in here, Bet McLean doing a sign up offer online.

Bet £10 on evens or more, and get a free £50 to use at evens or more.

You do have to verify before you bet though. Any market. Not sure if the £10 bet has to be settled before you get the £50, but sure if you do the £10 tomorrow, you'll have the £50 for Friday.
