Be interested to know as well, we've been meaning to go since it opened but haven't got round to it.

Gonna go La Parrilla on Bold Street for my birthday, I've heard good things?

For my money it's the best restaurant in Liverpool.  Certainly the best combination of quality and value, the lunch and early evening menus are an absolute steal, the service is great and the wine list is absolutely killer.  Haven't been for the Sunday roast but I've heard good things as well.

Yeah 22nd September. It's a shame because it's in a nice spot just off bold street.

The food was nice with a big group. Not great for couples and singles

It's a lovely space inside so can't see that building staying too empty for long

Unless the council decides to follow through on putting a building in on that courtyard space outside

Only been Lucha Libre once and wasn't massively impressed, think we were the only people in there as well iirc.

Somewhere in town, as we'll be having a few shandies after as well.

Last time I was there, I went to Yukti, which was decent.

Mogwli is great, but it's not what you might consider a trad "curry" restaurant.

Food is outstanding imho though. I've always enjoyed the food in UNI on renshaw st. Slightly more spit and sawdust though

Whoever asked about Wreckfish. It's great. I've moved to Chester now and have been into Ushers place here three times. As good as Wreckfish.

UNI decent then? A good, "standard" curry house?

My personal favourites:

Sanskruti (Yukti & Mowglii are also great)
Bacaro
Rudy’s
Neon Jamon
Grilla
Trattoria 51

I also quite like Tiger Rock, but last time I went it wasn’t as good as the previous 2 or 3 times.

My gf loves Hanover Social but I’ve never really had a decent meal there. Prob more down to bad luck on my part I guess as we’ve gone with other people and they’ve always liked it.

Apocalypse Cow, at Cains Brewery (it’s linked to Ghetto Golf I think, is part of the bar outside there), does some really good food too actually. Their loaded fries and halloumi chips are amazing.

Did Wreckfish for Sunday lunch yesterday, had topside of beef with roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding, carrot and swede and gravy.  It was absolutely game changing, every element on the plate was flawless.  Finished off with some profiteroles for desert all for £20, absolute bargain.
