Wonder if we've seen the last of Sterling this season...
Let us never forget Rafael Benitez and what he did for us. A fighter full of guts and passion. A gentleman full of class and dignity. A football manager full of intelligence and pure genius. A Legend.
Adios Rafa, buena suerte.

So whats up with Sturridge?

Suarez and Coutinho are playing better without him in the way.

Well Suso, Assaidi and Sturridge all offer a little something off the bench. Think this team of 18'rodgers has selected offers the best balance.

If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

Unchanged then....

Sterling may be out for the season, he won't be risked unless he's 100% right.

Good move there.

Would like to see Sturridge up top with Suarez dropping a little bit to be honest. But i suppose we would lose the cover we get from having Downing on the left.

Lucas will handle him, he is getting more games under his belt and getting back where he needs to be. Also Hendo starting means he won't be doing a one man band impression again.

Well aren't you a little ray of sunshine.

We struggled against him at Upton Park. We've struggled against physically imposing players before and not just this season (I remember Mulumbu doing a very good job of marking Gerrard out of the game).

West Ham will be coming here looking for a point. Fat Sam doesn't know any other way. So we'll need an attacking bench to change things if they aren't working. I certainly don't think we'll "smash them 4-0" although I'd be happy to be proven wrong

Speaking of bubbles (we are playing West Ham, after all) and delusion, there are so many things wrong with that post, on so many levels, a little bit of wee just came out when I read it, I was laughing that hard.

Yeah, we're swapping him to West Ham and in exchange they're giving us a fit Andy Carroll in return.

So annoying that he had an argument with the boss, he seemed like a decent player.
