Getting 5 stars tomorrow and wondered if anyone one of you good people could knock up a design so I can take with me.

Also not sure if any words should be added to the tattoo, was thinking of Istanbul 2005 at the bottom of the final star, but not sure.

Any help would be great

they look just as nice, and dont need touching up as often as the red fades quite easily, the best colours are a black outline with red inside

I got mine done at Jacks.The Liverbird with Liverpool fc years ago and the flames and stars were added later.Don't get it done when you're suffering with a major hangover and deffo get it on a part of your body that you can cover up,you might get an interview with a blue c*nt

When I came back from Istanbul I thought to myself that I would get a tat to commemorate the occasion. Got back and started looking and saw one that was spot on. Before I went to get it though I realised that there was nothing original about it and that everyone had one regardless of whether they were part of the experience or not.

Long story short I didn't bother and the more times I hear "I've never been to a game but Istanbul looked great on telly, have you seen my tattoo" the more I think I did the right thing.

Part of me still wants to get one but what is there you could get that would be original ?

Its not about being original mate, its about something thats means everything to you.
The Liverbird is a common tattoo, but i dont care as it means a lot to me and wont change for anything. Im getting the eternal flame on my calf pretty soon to.

Reading through this thread some people were saying like, wait till your older etc but what's the point? I'm not going to stop loving this club, I can assure you. I understand that my body isn't fully developed or whatever so I wouldn't get one on my arm of something as the muscle will get bigger and so on. But Jack's liverbird on my back or somewhere is what I'm after.

Got a year to think things through though, i might even take a picture of that exact one in to make sure it's done right. I couldn't be having a shitely done one on my body for life.

When I do get it done, I'll be coming up to Liverpool to get it done. Tattooist's will have done it many times before rather than someone up here doing it for the first time.

I think black looks better, espescaily after 10+ years when the colours can fade a bit. I have a black one on my back/shoulder (so i suppose I would say that!!)

Got the official club badge on my right calf....brilliant quality and the detail is amazing...A lad called Dave T from Bolton did it,wouldn't go anywhere else now...Was bricking it in case he made a nuts of it....Well happy.

Emailed the tribal life guy and he said he'll only do it at 18 and id is required. Hopefully I'll age quickly and get a fake id

about 40 I think can't remember. Only part that really hurt was the outline yeno the fella who did it was like now are you sure your going to sit through it and all that because he's had people walk out.
