Yup, think this is something that's needed in midfield these days.  Clarkson looks silkier on the ball, but Morton's physicality is going to make the transition to first team football much easier.

You can see how Jones's physical attributes have helped his development.

Unless there's any injuries probably the same as against Leeds but without Morton

Completely wrong about the team, Bradley, Morton and Balagizi all start. Beck's just scored to make it 1-0

And Chelsea win it. Our lads didn't put the ball out with one of our own down injured. Got what they deserved, really really naive. Woeful last half hour.

4-3 Chelsea in injury time. Reds should have put the ball out when Bean(?) went down injured but they played on and Chelsea scored. Character building I suppose!

Thought the second half was pretty even. Never really came under sustained pressure after going 3-1 up and Chelsea scored with what felt like 3 of about 5 shots.

Bradley was really good given he'd played 90 minutes of senior football only a few days before.

Under 18s go to Leeds today. Hopefully some revenge on the cards after their 23s side battered us the other day  ;D

Again, tough result but played a lot of it with 10 men. Nice to see Cannonier score yet again, he's having a brilliant season

11 goals in 6 games, not sure it’s worth him staying at U18s level for much longer, even if his numbers at U23 aren’t as stellar he will benefit from playing against better players

Does he train with the first team as part of the elite group?

He doesnt yet start for the youth league team...or at least he didnt in the first game. So I dont think he'll be moving up yet.

Hopefully a bit better than the last couple results on lfctv!

Only caught the highlights of the Leeds game so guessing they're a bit bias to us, but we seemed to miss a few good chances. Clark looked quite bright. Looked very open but not really a surprise given 10 men and how attack heavy the line up was. Seen much worse than Mabaya's challenge not get sent off as well in acadmey football.

Sheffield Wednesday are playing quite well.

Open game, but they do move it up the pitch well and all 3 forwards look good for this level.

We’re a bit like Oles United when facing a top team, sit back and rely on moments of brilliance from the front three.

The Polish Messi is struggling to get in the game in that centre forward position, might need to drop a little deeper to get on the ball.  Gordon hasn't really done much either.

Porto one up, good hit.  We've not really put that much together, really disjointed feel to the team.

Think they'd only had one chance before the goal. More of the ball but wouldn't say they were dominant

Yeah they haven’t dominated in terms of creating chances but possession wise, patterns or play, how they’ve progressed the ball they’ve been much better than us.

The few times I see us play seems to be something we struggle with.
