hate bald goalkeepers. 'cept grobbelaar. cause he's got a dodgy porn tash.

A loose, crazy attitude would help reina. he's too serious looking all the time with all sorts of paranoia pre match ritual. lighten up lad!

I was in the Lower Kemlyn for that game on the front row, I was supposed to go to a seminar that was 'non negotiable' with school for a trip but I had my ticket and told them I had a 'family commitment'.

Anyway I spent the match, nervous as hell (it was the medal thiefs first visit to Anfield with them so everyone was excitable and we had started the season poorly and needed a win) but also trying to stay out of danger of getting spotted on the TV. When Ngog scored, everyone was delighted and in the celebrations I was flattened by my friend and my Dad (an Evertonian I might add), I remember vidily seeing a blur of yellow race past as I was falling about but didn't know until I came home that it had been Pepe.

Love the man.
I got the Lucas thing wrong. Will be right on Henderson though. Play him RM, play him CM - Not good enough and never will be.

Love this lad, he is human, he will make mistakes. Show me a keeper who has not made any. The reason why Pepe is one of the best is becasue he limits his errors to a couple a season whilst every other time being up to his brilliant best. Yes, he has made a couple of errors recently, so what, it is a team game, and he is being let down at times by the teams failure to convert chances. For me,and it is just my view, he is the most important player at this club and i hope he is here for years to come.
Love him too but I feel he's getting complacent and giving away goals a bit too regularly now. Solid in normal play but not
"Cutting Edge" in times when needed..

Giving away so many goals that we've only conceded just 18 this season? and up until the Manchester City game had the best defence in the PL

Bollocks!
Suddenly I turned around and she was standin' there
With silver bracelets on her wrists and flowers in her hair
She walked up to me so gracefully and took my crown of thorns
"Come in", She said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm."

I might be in!

His verdict, in the after game city thread, was we should sell reina and buy vorm. Words cant comprehend how idiotic that statement is.

after the city game out here there was a big article agout the game with the emphasis on Reina.

Apparently Liverpool fans have gotten fed up with Reina's "constant" mistakes, have turned  their backs on him and actually want the club to sell him.   ???

Also, apparently he's never been a top class keeper to begin with. A decent one ok, but never top class.

And then, at the end of the article they list all of the records Reina has set in Liverpool, making him basically one of the best keepers in club's history.  Talk about shit journalism.

He didn't need to redeem himself at all,
When he made his mistake suddenly 2 more pages appeared on this thread straight after the final whistle!
He kept himself that clean sheet tonight and deserved it and only 3 posts 15 minutes after the game

True, maybe a poor choice of words. Anyone doubting him though needs to look at today where he was excellent.

True, maybe a poor choice of words. Anyone doubting him though needs to look at today where he was excellent.

To be fair there was little or no one doubting him, a few people made the remark that he'd made the odd uncharacteristic mistake and then the superfans came out all up in arms ready to burn the naysayers. The extremes of internet forums.

I wish people would stop making this shit up!
A few people said he didn't have a good game in the 3-0 defeat against City (and maybe one complete lunatic took an extreme view), and suddenly people start defending him against all these imaginary people who say he should be dropped or sold!
Great to see him looking his usual solid self tonight, he didn't have much to do tonight due to a fine defensive display, but when he was called upon, then he did a fine job. His narrowing of the angle when Aguero was through was perhaps even more impressive than his save from the corner.
