It wasn't actually phrased as a question Shaun, and if you bothered to read the first post you would have noticed that it was actually inviting people to join a fantasy baseball league and specifically stated for people who have no interest or a dislike of baseball to stay away.

Randomly calling people a dickhead doesn't tend to help!

OK, I get the point. :lmao

So pitchers lose points for earned runs, walks, home runs etc. and gain points for innings pitched, strikeouts, wins, saves etc?
Then hitters lose points for K's and getting caught stealing?

I was at Safeco Field last night to watch the M's beat the Red Sox.  Got to see 5 of my fantasy team players in action during the game - very successful night for both the Mariners and my fantasy team! :D

Slowly rising to the top.

 :)

Just wished my pitching staff would give up some more runs for some points.  :P

If pitchers got points for batting then the teams with NL pitchers would have an unfair advantage over teams with AL pitchers.

The lad finally did me proud with his pitching.

Looking at a few players but I'm struggling to think who I need to get out of my team. Finally acquired a half decent pitching staff and my hitting is productive.

Struggling to think, with my most likely opition being Sweeney because of the fact he's playing for the Royals, thought I've gotta admit that Floyd has really gone off the boil lately.

God, I wish pitchers got points for hitting.

Eaton did more last night than half my team has done in the last week.  ;D

Quite happy with my mid-table position so far in this...made a few changes which will hopefully come good in the next few weeks to give me a bump up the league...well, enough to come above Phil anyway! :)

Catcher - Posada
1B - Piazza (ok, I know, but he's down as a C/1B)
2B - Hudson
3B - Uribe
SS - Jeter
OF - Matsui, Hunter, Griffey
Util - Eckstein
L Castillo on the bench

Among my pitching staff are - Hudson, Zito, Maddux, Martinez

Half decent pitching staff.

My side is slowly taking shape, just hoping that Bradley gets out of his slump when he comes back off the DL and chippy starts to hit the ball.

My side

C: Inge
1B: Johnson (did have Sweeney)
2B: Kent
3B: C. Jones
SS: Barmes
OF: Clark
OF: Floyd
OF: Mackowiak
Util: Roberts
DL: Bradley

Pitching Staff
SP: Carpenter
SP: Garland
SP: Rogers
RP: Rusch
RP: Hermanson
RP: Wagner
P: Rogers

Thinking of shifting Hermanson so, to be honest.

Red Sox had been battered, Arroyo is quite good, but maddux is another planet. Sure hall of famer.....Wrigley is a terrible ballpark to play in, the wind is always blowing towards the outfiedl and you can get many many HR but are the Cubs who usually take advantage of that!
