there's no reason to be an apologist for Bruce Lee's appearance
cinema is many things and you can certainly view a movie from many perspectives and its relevance to where/how does this feature in the last 80 years of cinema
Bruce Lee had a phenomenal impact on western culture in movies (which remains to this day) and beyond (and with many 'stars', even those we consider great, it's questional if they really had an impact on western culture beyond the movies)
his relevance regarding influencing cinema in the western world is huge
maybe the fact he made both lists in this final thing you do speaks to that?
could there have been other international films instead (Metropolis or M would've tempted me)? sure, but then Clint turns up on both lists (and rightly so imo
)
