Anyone who goes around waving wads of £50 notes boasting about having £50+m to spend in the summer deserves to get ripped off.  Best to keep schtum or plead poverty and get players at prices that are not over-inflated by clubs who see $$ in their eyes the moment you express interest.

Please no more groundhog day today. Take the chances, win the game and let's go home with the points.
Has Steven Gerrard scored a goal even more important than the one he got against Olympiakos - Is this the start of something BIG?

Not sure Why Big Andy's not in the lineup, maybe just resting him for next weekend.

I assuming Carra's playing because this game doesn't really matter much anymore.  Letting him get some last minutes in in his career before he rides the bench a lot next season.

Sure someone would've posted with all the outrage going on, but just in case:

This Is Anfield ‏ @thisisanfield Close
Raheem Sterling, for those wondering, won't be in the squad as all reserve players had 4 days off after their season finished on Monday.

No.  Because only an idiot would describe being rested a week before a cup final as being "dropped".

why not rest Suarez then?

Atleast eveyone has a great excuse if Carra plays and we lose the final.  :butt

Our back four for the final should be Johnson, Skrtel, Agger and Enrique. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

Yes, if there is an injury then Carra will be on at Wembley not Coates.  Hence he gets a game to keep him sharp.  Coates will get his chance.

Not sure if your serious, or have you missed Carra performance this season :o
Liverpool manager Rafael Benítez admitted after the match that the manner of his side's victory had stunned him and he stated: "My problem is that I don't have words to express the things that I feel at this moment"

Liverpool will have 20 million in the summer to spend= ESPN?. seriously

It's ridiculous. How the fuck do they know? What about the many variables? Cole, Maxi, Dirk, Doni and Aquilani and whether they stay or go will make a huge difference, not least to the wage bill. New dof will make a difference. Pure guesswork.

Someone posted a few weeks ago that Kenny should play his cup final team for the remaining consecutive games to get them to gel - well that's wrong, we need to preserve & protect some of our players even though Kenny may say its one game at a time.

There's a fucking massive game next week so stop moaning.

As someone just said, all the Reserves players got 4 days off after their season just ended.  Of course, at least 1 of them (Suso... unsure if there are any others) is already out on international duty.

Skrtel's played all but one game in the league I think (suspension after Tottenham away) Fairly sure he;s being rested, as he's made a few mistakes in the last 6 weeks or so, and he'll probably be our most important player against Chelsea, as I very much doubt that we'll manage to prevent the ball from consistently reaching their strikers without Lucas in there.

That's not to say that I agree with it being Carragher in there instead of Skrtel though

Hmmm ... starting to regret the verbage I used now.

What did he say?

just it was a precaution and that he didn't travel with the team (i think). and when pressed for what the injury was he wouldn't say, but said he'd be back for next week

but yea i don't think we can read too much into that, just kenny being his usual guarded self. just a shame carroll isn't getting the chance to continue his form (& further it) into the fa cup
