Great little story to the season so far this.

He made a couple of great saves today to go along with the one he made midweek.

You can see why West Ham fans were gutted to lose him. You do have to wonder how he has not been picked up by a top team earlier, right now he is playing as well as any keeper in the league, including the one down the road on £375k per week.

He's so much more suited to our system than Migs was, and obviously has a lot of mental strength to boot - the way he's come back from that Southampton debacle is very impressive.

It would be hilarious if DeGea lose his place for Spain to Adrian. And their head coach should really consider it. He's more suited to how they play.

A couple of gaffs in his first couple of games but has looked very solid since.

I’ve stopped checking the injury thread everyday for updates on Allison now anyway  >:(

A massive upgrade on Mignolet and Karius.

If we didn't have Alisson, we'd probably be more than happy with Adrian as first choice.

Funny.  Yes he's made some great saves but still isn't coming off his line confidently and his distribution is significantly worse than Ali.  No doubt that he drops to the bench with a big pat on the back.

Honestly don’t think we could’ve done better for a no.2. (The way he left Abraham on the floor early on was smart btw.) Imagine playing no football for half a year, signing on a free then after a week standing in for a CL and Copa winner who also has the golden glove in the PL, CL, and Copa with the Super Cup and a penalty shootout your second game. Lesser men would crumble.

If he carries on like this... and Alisson is 100% fit, Adrian isn't getting dropped. If he has more games in a row where he's bailed us out consintently, then it'll be hard to drop him... but whatever happens, he has certainly contributed. Would like to see him dribble up the pitch a bit more tho... take on a few perhaps, then be in there for a cross on occassion but these things take time.

He’s surprised me how quickly he’s fitted in to our style of play and how many good saves he makes when required. He’s a really good keeper in his own right and would be first choice for a lot of teams.
BUT once Alisson is ready he ain’t going to spend time sitting on the bench and I’m sure Adrian realises this.

As soon as Allison is fit Adrian is getting dropped. There’s no question about it
