How do you see queue position mate?

Right click>inspect>command+f > type 'position'

that is on mac might be different on pc

If you're on chrome - right click - inspect element - body - queue status - script - then should say your position / total number of people queuing

95,000/110,000 well that's me done then...

The "queue size" is defined by when the browser refreshes into the queue

Got in with no queue today  8)

I just chuck this into console.

var timer = setInterval( () => { console.log(`${queuePosition} of ${queueSize}`); }, 30000)

Maybe they are learning!

Really hope they do something with that Chelsea game

The other interesting scenario will be how they approach any additional sale for Villa too. By the time they have one for the game (late March?) it will likely be a case of we’ve already clinched the title, or the odds of it happening that day would be much increased...

Would work a treat for those with 100 tabs

Thankfully I'm sorted for that, but the Chelsea game is the day we lift the trophy regardless of when we win it.

I have 13 so far this season, but if they are going off last season I have 12, which should carry so much more weight than 4, which at the moment it doesn't.

I know it will be hard to change the criteria last minute but this is an exceptional circumstance. Like, first time in 30 years exceptional.

villa doesn’t make much sense to me because your playing with ifs and maybes which isn’t really fair, maybe stick a 4+ on it but im not sure. Chelsea is another ball game, by the time of the additional sale, they will know if they trophy is gonna be lifted so, they could make it 4+ form this year at least to be honest

Just read an article that states the work for the new Annie will be done behind the existing stand, meaning it shouldn't affect the amount of seats whilst it's being done? Bodes well for those of us trying to get to 13 and beyond.

What would you consider more worthy someone with 13 this year & 12 last year or someone who has an average of say 8 for the last 10 years?
Where do you draw the line or how do you define "More weight"? I totally agree that someone who has only 4 games from last year is well down the pecking order but I'd also look to those who have consistently being going for the last number of years and for whatever reason haven't reached the milestone of 13 but still get to games regular.

It's not due to start yet is it?

Main stand was a successful project so building the new stand just behind and then swapping a few home/away fixtures is probably the best way to do it

Club confirming today that the Anfield Road expansion would be 5,200 GA tickets and 1,800 lounge/sports bar-style hospitality.

Would that be a huge increase if a lot of those went to ST waiting list?

Doubt they will all go to the ST list. Wasnt it around 50% of the GA went to ST list in the Main Stand
Ideally it will be 4k to ST as I am on 3971 approx!!!

Given the numbers we are seeing in the queues during the sales, I don't imagine it would make it feel easier to get tickets even if non of it went to those on the ST waiting list.

The browser check thing is supposed to stop those

More likely it's just 30K people with 10 browsers open each!

Browser check???

You can get 100 entries on 1 machine if you want, endless entries with chrome if you add separate chrome users to the same installation

Just down to your machine resource limits to how many chrome instances you can open before your CPU and RAM can't cope

By browser check I mean that screen you get when you enter the queue on a sale date. It's not checking numbers of browsers open, it's checking if the browser is running a bot I guess.

They brought it in after that farce of a bulk sale the other year, and it obviously works because there's been nothing like that happen since.

Yeah you're right sorry

But wouldn't be hard to write a script to open all the chrome users shortcuts every X period of time and open on the ticket URL, each would do the browser check

I do it now just manually

Yeah, the whole stand will be 16k capacity total.

The 5,200 and 1,800 figures are the extra seats the expansion brings.

Do we think Aston Villa will go straight to all members or maybe a 4+ sale first? (not that it makes it any better!)

I spoke to the club regarding a +13 sale first, then +4 etc & they said it was something under consideration. Still unlikely IMO.

Think the main difference is that people on 13+ will already have their chelsea tickets, but they didn’t get priority initially for Villa

This was the reasoning I spoke to the club about & they did agree. Chelsea will start at +4 no matter what from what they were suggesting.

you know I thought that but it’s been patchy the last week so I put it down to WiFi, block took about 10 seconds to load, absolutely no chance
