Really enjoyed that. Liked the bit about the chaos of half time and how it wasn't as magical as some of the stories tell us. Rafa credits the players and rightly so but his tactical knowledge and on the ground thinking was just brilliant.

brilliant that. think it was a subtle point that kaka was in the space which gerrard vacated but in the end it was gerrard at RB who influenced the game and showing character.

Brings us to the current team now. Alisson and VVD. Both big characters and I think are replicating the Carra and Reina role.

That stirred a lot of emotion. I spent a large part of my early years in Alder Hey and Kenny invited me to Melwood. When I got there everyone was fantastic. The memory that sticks out was Jan Molby making my Mam a brew.
