If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

however, someone else did

Sorry WD. Great minds and all that. Fuck what a shit round. Was thinking of Essien as well but wanted someone more attacking. Aurelio is an interesting one.

Right Nicholls

This time, maybe don't tell us exactly who you've picked. There's a chance you might get him if you keep his identity secret.

Next round.

Simple.

This bespectacled dreadlocked Dutch midfielder relegated with Newcastle in 2009.

Round Five

Now we're after total failure

Criterion -  Select a player who has been relegated from the Premier League.

For the purposes of this round they must have started at least one game for a side who were relegated in that season - this includes players on loan at a side who were relegated, but not a player on loan from a side who were relegated (ie their parent club went down while they played elsewhere).

Deadline - 8pm GMT on 13th January, or when all drafters have submitted their selection (whichever is sooner).

Harder. Liverpool's boy wonder.

Round Six please.

Haha they were my two choices, the first I was too late with the PM, the second was agreed and then overruled by Vagabond. I might be voting for your team instead!

By the way, can't vote for any team with a Manc in it.

Bale and Waddle on the wings. That combo of pace, power and technique has never been realised on the football pitch.

Used that round to get the most experienced PL keeper there is and an ex red. Best round to do it I thought. Why get an average to decent striker when there's still plenty left.

Looks like Sample had the same thinking.

Meh I once has Messi, Suarez and Ibrahmiovic on the same pitch.  That was sex on the pitch.

Ooooh look, he gets Juninho and now he thinks he can start lording it over me!   ;)

Not brilliant not terrible, happy that i can pock more quality in outfield positions. Surprised that quite a few got left out there. I was thinking of making a cheesy pick for Bryan Robson who was player manager when Middlesbrough went down.
