Very impressive clean sheet. Konate. Tsimikas and James all came in and did very well. Was a bit worried about Zaha on their left, but Milner was excellent, cagey little divil he is.

Yeah, he went on Palace deserve this, deserve that. Wtf was that? Yes they were better than before, but had Jota scored from 3 yards, it would've been game over long ago.

at some point when Palace had 1 shot on terget he said ‘this could be 2-2’, and then after Sadio scored ‘it was just a case of who scored first’ like both teams had been going at it attack wise all 1st half :lmao

He was awful. Being a tryhard I guess, but just coming out with some really odd comments.

Palace are the ultimate physical team, and under Viera they are playing quite some nice football.

We never surrendered, we gave them a proper physical battle and as a reward for that we won 3-0.

Andy Madeley has a strange game - he got conned by a number of dives, notably by Gallagher, but also Ayew and inevitably, Saha. Yet he allowed a number of late tackles, presumably because of the new directive. Anyway he was suitably crap, i.e - in keeping with the general standard, and on a par with the dreadful Mike Dean last night.

Honestly thought Konate and Millie struggled for much of the game, but Millie’s experience and fitness compensated for his loss of pace. Fab probably needed a break but was needed in a game like this, he looked gassed for the last 25 minutes. Curtis looked really good in his small cameo - I think he will feature more and more as the season progresses.

Overall, chuffed with the scoreline and points, Palace are a different animal this season and despite the fact Gallagher is a diver (Chelsea dna?) he’s a very good addition to their ranks, and he has a terrific engine.

Naby lad! What a goal to round off another important three points, especially in light of City dropping points. Thought Palace were no pushovers to their credit. Gave our new look defence a bit of trouble on occasion. It definitely wasn't the most polished Liverpool display you'll see but we did enough attacking and counter pressing to force ourselves into the positions needed to grab the goals. Konate looked a bit nervy on his debut but that is easily forgiven - his recovery pace is excellent. It was good to see us make use of our squad players and still win convincingly. If Klopp can pull that off correctly over the course of the season it should keep our best players energised for when they are needed most. The only drawback was Thiago's injury. Hopefully it is only minor one because he does add that bit of flair and creativity in midfield that we sometimes lack. This season is shaping up nicely. Long may it continue.

1. How did Konate do?
2. How bad is Thiago injury?
1. Very good, one of two tricky moments but a few really good moments.
2. Went straight down the tunnel which is never a good sign.

Konate was fine (I missed first 2 mins though, when apparently Palace actaully did their only sustained attacking of that 1st half), few little misunderstandings, but he’s really calm on the ball and had a couple of really good plays where he used his strength to shield the ball and defend well.

Wonderful first half, decent second, very worthy winners.

I love Kostas Tsimikas  ;D

Stephen Warnock on the commentry, one of the worst I have ever heard. Clueless and cheerleading for Palace the whole way.

I’ve no idea why people convince themselves this is going on.

Warnock is on the Anfield Wrap on a monthly basis, he’s clearly a Liverpool fan.

No idea on 2 really, didn't look like much.

1. I thought he was good. One or two moments when he got caught wrong side and a little brain fart where he left Milner in no man's land from a pass/miscommunication. That said though, the moments he did get caught wrong side he battled back really well. Clearly incredibly strong and quick so was able to compensate. Hit some lovely passes into midfield, the sort that break a line or two and we've seen Gomez and Matip play from that right CB position. For a 22 year old making his debut against and awkward team in a 'makeshift' defence, I'd say it was a pretty impressive performance.

Then do people not think Klopp wouldn't have considered that? It's not just today either, it's every time he's picked. I know it's mostly just twitter bellends, I'm not talking about people on here.

To be honest, Klopp like any manager in history CAN get it wrong sometimes. I cant speak for any other game but today, the slight concerns were understandable. Milner isn't quick, the games obviously about more than that but in terms of getting hit on the break with a high line and someone like Zaha as an outlet, it's a valid concern and nothing to do with Klopps ability or understanding of the game. If 'Klopp knows better' was the go to then there would be no point in RAWK. Its just a discussion regarding the game

Everything went through Salah today. He's a great focal point when Firmino isn't playing. Strong, calm and always plays the smartest passing option. He very rarely loses the ball as well despite 90% of defenders ripping off the shirt off his back.

Jota had a quiet game. He can be a strange player at times when it comes to his passing game. He's got the occasional eye for a lovely sweeping counter attacking pass but his short passing can sometimes be very erratic. He seems to thrive a lot more of instinct in his game than most

You  know what, nornally I agree, and it’s very rare of me to even say it to be honest these days, which is reason enough to know he was shit  ;D He was bloody awful from start to finish.

I know who he is, I don't listen to any football podcast, but him being on one doesn’t automatically mean he’s a good commenator.

Thought half way through the 2nd half palace were going to score, they wereqqq getting through us far too easy and really should of had a couple of goals , could have been a very different game.
