Juventus doing a riot. Not sure they’ll be good enough to win Serie A but Allegri is top class.

Injuries biting. Aguero, Coutinho, Fati and maybe Dembele would at least improve them.

Dembele is never fit and hasn't done anything in years since he's been there.

Aguero has been more injured in the last year than he has been on the pitch. Coutinho has been unimpressive.

Their only hope is Fati.

They got some average players in that side.

I had a sneaky feeling any team that can pass around in midfield would do Utd. And continental teams can pass it around a bit. Was expecting a draw but a win is bloody marvelous.

Whilst not seeking to piss on anybody's chips, let's not forget that United were down to 10 men. Mistakes were made by Ole (and Lingard! ;D ) but the truth is this could easily have been a United victory.

I think the moral of this particular story is one we've seen before: the moment United have to deal with a competition where officials aren't subservient to them, they struggle.

Yep. Rabiot, Danilo, Cuadrado and Morata won’t get you anywhere near winning it but at least they’re making better decisions signing Locatelli, getting Ronaldo’s wages off the books and getting Allegri back.

He's the only manager who's done well for them in the CL since Lippi. Got them to two finals and 2 quarter finals in his 5 years there. Got knocked out last 16 under Sarri and Pirlo. Only got out the group once under Conte and reached the quarters.

Hard to see them going far though given the quality of the English sides, PSG and Bayern and the shitshow he's inherited.

Zenit as usual is unimpressive. Their striker couldn't hold up the ball and when put clean through mis-controlled the ball, twice.

And their defence lost track of Lukaku when the cross came in.

I think the Sevilla-Salzburg game trumped that one, four penalties in one game. Man U losing is always a highlight though. 😀

I don't think they have enough goals in the team to win the league. Lukaku will score a lot but not many others

They will be a threat in the CL again due to how defensive they are

Why wasn't Dejan in the lineup?

He was an unused sub in their last game at the weekend, not sure why. He played for Croatia I think but maybe picked up a knock. He's Zenit captain so would be strange not to play him. Don't think he even travelled to Chelsea.

Since Tuchel took over they've conceded 1 Champions League goal. They won't batter many teams but they're going to be extremely difficult for any team to beat. With a squad like this and a goalscorer like Lukaku they're going to be mighty dangerous.

Depends on who they get further on, and this time around it's with supporters in the ground, that does make a difference for certain sides. They are organized for sure but they're also very thin at the back given that they play with 3 CB's
