We’ve exactly same transfers on the Sunday. Way I’ve read it as long as you don’t leave the airport transfer areas you do not need a visa!
If you leave these areas you need a transit visa

You do not need a visa. We flew to Bosnia via Istanbul two years ago and didn’t need a visa unless you leave the airport

You do not need a visa for Turkey if you are just getting on a connecting flight in the airport and do not leave the airport.

Ok, in the correct thread this time

Me and my mate have a 2-bed apartment in Kiev Thu-Sun. Entire thing cost us $3300, but now some other lads have pulled out as they can't get flights. We have one room with a bed and sofa-bed available. The place is 0.8 miles from the stadium and really central. We are looking for $1200 ($600 each) for the two or three nights to share with us. It stated when I bought the ticket that I would need to get a rail replacement bus service, and my ticket says the starting point is Bochnia. So unless it stated otherwise when you bought the ticket, I think you should be ok. I think there are some sort of engineering works going on around the Krakow station at certain times of the day.

Booked an apartment via booking.com back in January for £74.

Got an email this morning saying that the owner can't honour the booking as the rate was wrong and booking.com are now trying to sort out accommodation with a €100 limit.

Been on the phone/email with them the majority of the day so at the moment looks as if 2 of will be without accommodation at this point.

Whilst it's helpful, It'll mean we have to fork out another £160 on an already expensive trip. My frustration is more at booking.com have a €100 limit, basically meaning we will have to fork out more due to their incompetence.

My last try to get rid of this one...

For anyone still trying to get home I have 2x krakow - liverpool flights to sell for the Monday evening , £180 for the pair (plus name change fee which is £115pp) . The flight is now sold out. Anyone interested let me know.

I would take £175 for each ticket now, the last price I saw on Ryanair before it sold out was £225 each.

My mate is on the same flight as "Buck Pete" and they have their details. I'm on manc flight 2 and no voucher so I emailed them. I received a voicemail saying that the flight would be ticketed tomorrow as they are having problems agreeing the flight slots with Kiev. Hasn't helped me with that information.

Get on to them again, this happened to me and a few others. No limit was given, they offered me other stuff but found something better (cheaper than alt they found) diff from original booking is £240. They have said they will refund. Orig booking was £43. Also keeping looking on booking.com stuff coming up cheaper now but you have to be quick.

Every company are having trouble getting the slots sorted apparently it was down to the airport accepting charters to book in until last Friday. They were spending yesterday sorting it out and informing travel company's today.

Lack of fuel?? What next?!

Got our SO email last night. Not sure who we're flying with but times looked ok. I'll compare ours to that list later. It was Jet2 for Rome but that was from Manchester

The directions sound a bit chaotic - walk here, walk there, "bus platforms", but will prob make sense on the day....if we remember them. Calling people flight by flight doesn't sound hopeful. Some are bound to miss them.

Where did you read that? It might be due to Russia who keep causing gas shortages in Ukraine.
