Author Topic: 22/23 TV Fixtures (Read 46256 times)

It'll be interesting to see what happens the Leeds away game. Currently scheduled for 15th April but we don't play on that date. If we get past Madrid the CL quarters are either side of the Leeds game.

I wonder have the club spoken to UEFA to request we play our quarter-final on the Tuesday-Wednesday schedule if we get there so Leeds can be played on Sunday 16th.

I've heard arsenal is 1230 Saturday which should mean are CL qtrs if we get through would be Tues then weds meaning Leeds will be Sunday 16th then. Spurs is 430pm Sunday also apparently. All subject to our progress in the CL though most likely

Take nothing for granted, as UEFA dictate when the CL games will be played. The date of the Arsenal game will be based on the CL games, and not the other way round.

The only thing you can assume with any certainty, is that we will not play Leeds on the Saturday.

The overall record is bad, but the form is good. February's were a day early and March's were on schedule.

Fully expecting April's announcement to be full of caveats depending on our and other team's cup fixtures, as others have said. Giving us only 6 weeks' notice is bad enough, but it will no doubt be much less for some of the games.

Am I right in saying that if Liverpool progress in CL and our first leg is on the Wednesday, then the Arsenal game will stay on the Sunday at 4:30?

Its unlikely our first leg will be on the Wednesday as that would mean the second leg is on the following Tuesday and that would leave there no space to fit the Leeds game in.

United have announced the alternative dates for their games that might be affected by European football. Not sure why we haven't.

Pretty sure UEFA don't give a flying fuck about league games when dictating the schedule. Leeds will be moved to Saturday evening/night if needs be.

UEFA don’t give a monkeys so if we’re still in CL any PL games which clash will have to be moved.

Was always a chance that it would be moved tbf, it’s nailed on to be midweek now as well as no free weekends.

It’s a bit annoying we arranged the Wolves game for tonight as that would have been a nice one to slot into the weekend we would have played Fulham instead of another midweek game.

We seem to have had loads of midweek/night games in the league this year.

Palace
Newcastle
West Ham
Leeds (Saturday night)
Leicester (Friday night)
Wolves
Fulham

Unlikely to get many 3pm Saturday games next season either if we end up going on a run in the Europa League/Conference

We won't play on the weekend of 18th/19th so will have a 17 day gap between Madrid away and City away.
