The only one I found on the web.
RIP Tommy.
Visible in the pic for what I believe to be their debuts  are Beardsley, Spackman, Barnes and and amongst others...

I was at that Game, whelan scored a screamer!

Not if that's how you feel in your heart. People are more tolerant these days, coming out isn't frowned upon anymore.

It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

As I've just realised this post will be my 1000th (decent one's few and far between) I thought I'd put up a few pictures of MY history of LFC - both good and bad. The events and experiences I've had/enjoyed/endured in the 10-11 years I've followed our club.

Liverpool 5-0 Singapore. Only the second time I've seen the Reds in the flesh.

My favourite Red, Dirk, with what I am sure would be one of his favourite moments.

What most of us wouldn't give to have this day again.......

Maybe not a superstar, but one of the few Reds I've seen grace the Anfield turf in the flesh - Bernard Diomede.

What a gesture from the Kop.

Words not required...................

One of the first we won under my 'supportership'

A sad day as another favourite Red says bye bye to us and hola to Madrid

A favourite son returns.....

What a man...... oh how I miss him on the touchline.

Another former Red I remember from my only Anfield experience. Ziege

A poignant moment from a good former Red

Couldn't bring myself to put there actual faces on here but the good thing about this is that they are now as the title says........history.

We owe you one Martin.......

One of the side effects of a passionate Reds following when you live in Australia.....most Monday/Tuesday mornings end up like this....... (that ain't me by the way)

There's so many more......I could go all day/night but thought I would leave you with what, to me, it's all about.

My only motivation for this post was for myself, to look back on some of the events/people that I've enjoyed watching in my time as a Red and is meant for no other reason. (Hope I've put it in the right thread)

How is that picture of Paisley carrying Hughes from the pitch not iconic? First that I've ever seen it, and it immediately assumed a spot in my all time favorite LFC pics.
All i want to see is Agger on the team sheet and scoring 6 goals with each one celebrated by punching the reporters in the face with his YNWA tattoo.

Manchester United could win fifty titles, but they will always be the Rolling Stones of football. Good, just not quite that band from Liverpool.
