What do you think the chances of getting a ticket for this in the exchange are?

Any decent pubs between the station and the ground. Usually go by car and have a few pints at Pitcher and Piano but going by train this time.
Cheers

There's a Yates close to the station.  People usually just drink in there then jump in buses / taxi's.

That's what I meant.  See you on the train and see you in Yate's.  Then when you walk to the ground I'll meet you there  after I've got a cab / bus.

just a discussion topic - i am not angling for spares here by the way - i am just interested in thoughts / reasons

i am surprised at the lack of spares knocking around on the exchange - any ideas on the reason for it? I assumed with a bigger allocation and dropping to 3 aways those people looking and obtaining spares normally would have been sorted on their cards. this i thought would mean those spares would come to a wider population.

is it because its Saturday 3pm or our recent form or is it those people who normally shift their away tickets just fancy this one?!

Top of the league, £20 a ticket, 3pm kick off, Saturday, playing fantastic football so far this season.

I think I can say that as I am the first person in the exchange and haven't heard anything nor does anyone appear to have been sorted. I would have hoped with that many that some would be available. But I imagine those that sometimes sell on, are going, and those that sometimes sell on because their mates don't want to go, are finding their mates want to go, so no need to use an exchange on RAWK to sort out strangers I guess.

It's probably a combination of all those factors.

I noticed a few unoccupied seats in our end I was three in from an aisle and the two next to me were empty hate to think that some credit hunters couldn't even be bothered their arse moving the tickets on,maybe the 20 quid price was cheap enough that they didnt need the hassle.

They will more than likely be people who moved and stood with their mates elsewhere.

I didn't use my own seat and I very rarely do for away matches, just stand with my mates.

That's not to say it wasn't credit hunting.  At £20 I'm sure there's a temptation to buy at £20 and just fuck it off.  Then again, our league away's are so easy to get rid of that any credit hunters should have been able to get rid very easily.  Plenty of 50 50s in our end again so no doubt that there was credit hunters selling to tourist types.  I'd say it was more likely to be a couple of mates who wanted to be with the rest of their mates.

Edit - or as I suspect that the players / family / corporate sponsors allocations have shot through the roof, it could also easily have been the type of people who don't need to credit hunt but it was a bit cold for them on the day.
