Strangely, no. Legroom if you've ever sat in there is atrocious.

How many rows are there in the Upper Centenary?

Jeanette Dodd may think its a nicer experience for disabled supporters when visiting Anfield, shamev they didnt let members know about the new rules and I wouldnt have to wait till November for a ticket.   :no
As I've said before, the Full English is just the base upon which the Scots/Welsh/NI have improved upon. Sorry but the Full English is the worst of the British breakfasts.

My ST is row 17, it's a decent view IMO.

It's a little steep the first time you walk up though.

The view is pretty decent up there - especially in the central blocks (CE4, CE5 & CE6). If you'd have managed to get the back row (think it's 23 rows in total) you get a couple of inches more leg room than most of the other rows in the Upper Centenary.

There's also a few seats on the back row that are 'aisle seats tha obviously have no other seats in font of them - great for those that need that legroom or need to stretch out a bit.

Have a good 'un :)

This is a random one.

I want to get some reference for an illustration Im doing of what the circle badge/logo was on the centenary stand when it opened (where you'd find 'Sir Kenny Dalglish' sign now) and I just can't remember what was on there or find any closer image online. Anyone know?
Was it the carlsberg stick man thing on the bottom of the ticket? Part of me thinks it was but then would they have branded the stand with Carlsberg?

Only sat in the lower centenary a few times before but we've got our ST's in there now. Great view of the match but there seems to be less leg room than I remember and those cut off seat backs are murder on the knees aren't they?

Any recommended yoga-like contortions to be able to sit comfortably or is it a case of carpet fitters knee pads?

Already on a diet

Made the mistake of wearing shorts for the Osasuna game and the scars on my knees haven't gone down yet.

Was in there until 07 when we shifted to the Kop, row 3 Anny Rd 18 yard line. Fantastic view, able to abuse linesman, banter with players, great views of the likes of Garcia scoring screamers but you need to lose a few stone and shrink about a foot in height ;D

Has anybody been at the back row of a CEX block?
Got tickets for Watford at CE1 and apparently this is the view I'll get, even though it wasn't marked as restricted view...

You can see the whole pitch, so I guess it's not restricted?  Guess it might be different when when you're surrounded by people who are on their feet though.

Had a view like that for my first ever game at Anfield vs Everton back in '95. Its a good while ago now but dont remember thinking the view was shite! Quite the opposite actually. Awful result but what an experience.

I was for a Utd game years ago. You could see the pitch unobstructed but couldn’t see anything of the Main Stand

Been in the back row at the Kop end, v Blackburn in the early 90's and the view is a bit shite. Yes you can see the whole pitch, so as we tend to play to feet you'll see that, but when the ball is in the air you lose track of it.

The view at the back of the Upper isn’t too bad at all. People won’t be stood up all that much so that’s no issue, but yeah you prob will only see the far touch line and not much of the Main Stand.

I believe that picture is from a seated position.
If you check the view of the restricted view seats in that website you can also see the whole pitch, but most people complain they can’t see anything when people in front stand up.

I’ve sat in the Upper since it was built (row 17), and been moved further back for a few European games. No one stands up (it’s too fucking steep!) for long periods so you’ll be sat down. It really isn’t too bad at all.

Without safe standing increasing attendances then within the footprint then for me, we are at the sweet spot. We also have to consider the appalling transport links to Anfield that are extremely unlikely to improve.

Personally, I think an extended ARE is about the limits of what is possible.

We may well be at the limit of what is financially feasible (but not what is possible).

It is possible to redevelop the SKD to the same capacity as the Main. Is it feasible? I doubt it - especially when you consider the properties behind and the geometry of the existing stand and the likelihood of needing to demolish and re-build the upper tier. Given it already has plenty of hospitality seating, where's the extra income going to come from to make it all feasible?

Solve that conundrum and then you might possibly consider how to get people out of their cars.
