I don't expect nothing less from your shower.

Anyway, with all the money that you've spent and the fact that you are supposed to be a big club, to be beaten by one goal due to one mistake and away from home with a weakened side is hardly something to gloat about.

Take a reality check koppites.

if your lot won you'd have had a dvd out by this morning.

Hello all!!

What a happy result. Although we really should have taken more of our chances (*cough* DIRK *cough* LUCAS) it was a great first half and a confidence-building win over those awful awful bitters.

Thought Gerrard was MOTM, he was back to his usual commanding self after a dire performance against les mancs, and I thought Dirk had a better game than normal despite his shots not coming off! Everything else from him was pretty positive. Lucas - well, I think he was nervous, it was uncharacteristic of him.

Fernando, Fernando, Fernando. Quel homme. That's all I can say.

Skrtel was great. I'm sooooo pleased with his progress, he's developing very nicely and will soon be a regular, the way he's going :)

Wondering why Arbeloa didn't even get a spot on the bench, considering how much he wanted to play and the fantastic form he's in.... Another one of life's little mysteries, I guess.

To be fair he has a point, after all we struggled to get past them at Goodison, when they were down to 9 men, with 2 pens, and the ref not giving them one in the last minute.......remember that one, eh, remember.......

Good solid victory from the lads. Although i wish we wouldnt take our foot off the pedal sometimes, puts me on a knife edge especially at 1-0, anything can happen.

Not for time-wasting, he kicked the ball away in frustration after being caught offside or something. Dissent - the word of the week ;)

Did anyone else notice there seemed to be something going on between Carra and Rafa right after the whistle went. Carra seemed to be having a go at Rafa for some reason but the camera only stayed on them for a second so i couldn't work out what was going on?

think they had one shot and that was in the first 5 mins
never looked like scoring against us
kuyt had a good game apart from his shooting
both center halves were awesome didn't miss a tackle between them
if there was a down side it was that we never scored more
but a win against that lot will do
thank you very much bug eyes for the six points this seasson

Delighted with the win, looking forward the Arse now.

Also delighted with Kuyt, I thought he played really well. Skrtel MOM (like most others are saying) and although Lucas didn't play that well, some of his passing in the first have was pretty good. He may be more comfortable against the Arse on Sat (if he plays)

Fair, fair.  We won, so now is a time for reflection.

Babel needs an end product.  He either needs to get a shot away or he needs to put a ball in the middle.

Kuyt is a hard-worker.  But come on...Pennant is on the bench and we should be attacking teams, not boring them to death.

And has done several times this season

I don't think yesterday was as much of us taking our foot off the pedal but Gerrard having to cover Lucas's work thus leaving Torres isolated. Xabi never helped much either.

Lucas decision making was poor yesterday. He could do with a few steaks down him aswell

Great first half performance, thought we sat back a little to much in the second. Great finish from Torres, Gerrard had a good game but Skittles was def man of match.. Lucas needs to beef up a good bit and needs to adjust to the pace of the game. Well in REDS. Liked the pic of Rafa punching the air after the final whistle!
Oh Sami Sami, Sami Sami Sami Sami Hyypia!!
