A Carra-Soto partnership was always gonna be deep. I hate to say it but I've been very dissapointed with Kenny & Clarke tonight. No gameplan, no tactical side in our game and no benefit from the subs.

I suppose in a one off game, Sparta at Anfield and they should be getting murdered. It just worries me that if we conceed 1 goal we're going to struggle.

Oh well.... I hope we just got the bad performance out of our system so we can ruin them at Anfield and then hammer those c*nts at Old Trafford.

They're an average side who did very little to trouble us on their home turf, an early goal next thursday and we should see them

Job done from our point of view, but my god we're bloody awful at times.

And I'll be perfectly honest, just a showing from Pacheco or Coady would have made it worthwhile, but we didn't even get that. Some shockingly ineffective players on this team, and Pacheco would have at least offered something different and some energy. I just despair as to why he's not getting ANY time out there at all. It's fucking mind-boggling.

Not much to discuss.

Ngog, Kuyt and Maxi were woeful. Certainly Ngog I mean he needs to learn how to keep the ball up FFS send the lad out on loan.

Kuyt and Maxi needed resting.

Fabio should never of started CM.

On the positive its a good result, Danny Wilson play well and Johnson was MOTM for me.

Hardly watched it to be honest. Saw the team and knew the outcome would be. Struggling against some Czechoslovakian journeymen! NGog needs to work on his hold up strength and start watching videos of David Trezeguet if he wants to make it in the first team. We'll have em at Anfield but I wasn't impressed. Maxi and Cole are incredibly average.

Agree. I wanted to see Pacheco. Woeful match, and lucky not to lose it.
