God the early episodes that were Homer or Burns-centric were always 9/10 at least. Mountain of Madness, Rosebud, A Star is Burns, Homer the Smithers.. all great episodes.

I'm inordinately fond of Homer the Smithers. Especially Homer taking phone messages:
'You have 30 minutes to move your car. You have 10 minutes to move your car. Your car has been moved and crushed into a cube. You have 30 minutes to move your cube'

Homer making breakfast for Burns always makes me laugh.

The campaigning at the end where he follows the duck then sits on the knee of the statue asking for a list of presents.
