Whole beans, so it'll go in whatever you want depending on how fine you grind it. I have a Gaggia Classic espresso machine.

Just looking at prices, about £15 for a kilo sound right? Not bad if it's top quality. Really getting into my coffee recently.

Yeah, cost me £18 including postage. It's my second lot - lovely stuff. Will keep for about 6 weeks once open, and I go through about 250g a week, so it's all good.

Do you keep it frozen? Some bird I used to see swore by it, and I've kept all my coffee in the freezer since.

Sorry with all the questions.....

No, I have heard it compromises the flavour (so never tried it). I keep mine in an airtight container in a cool cupboard.

Yea i do, its the only way to get the speed i want. Used to have 11's on my SG for a deeper sound but my boy uses it now so thats on 9's too.

Ever considered using hybrids?

I like 9s on my Ibanez's but want something thicker than a 42 if I'm riffin' away mostly.

Where it's at.

How much did they set you back? I've only ever used the standard Apple headphones and want to finally get hold of a decent pair.

$179, worth every cent of that. You hear things in songs that you've never noticed before.

If that's too much, Bose has earbuds which go for $99 or so- I have a pair of them as well and they're also worth the price, best earbuds I've used.

If that's too much, Bose has earbuds which go for $99 or so- I have a pair of them as well and they're also worth the price, best earbuds I've used.

nononononononononononononononono

bose products are absolute garbage and cost way too much, just like MONSTER cables.  the noise canceling perhaps can't be argued against but in terms of sound quality you're doing no justice to your FLAC files at all.  they're probably better than what you had previously and that's why you feel like they're so great, but don't stop at bose on your audio quest.  check out any headphone/hi-fi forum and you'll see what a bad reputation bose has.

you could spend about $100 USD or a bit less to get much higher quality headphones.  granted the ones i'm thinking of (Audio Technica ATH-AD700) don't have noise canceling (called "open" -- not a bad thing; just depends on what type of sound you want) but the sound quality is impeccable, and beats out many more expensive headphones.  then there are closed headphone (with a sound isolating feature, like the bose) equivalents for about the same price - $100 or so, that will deliver better sound.

as for earbuds, and talking strictly about earbuds the best ones are probably the Yuin PK series.  PK3's are something like $40-60 and PK2 and 1 are more expensive from there.. but most of those will be better bose or apple.  then there are In-Ear-Monitors which are like earplugs with earbud speakers inside of them.. these block out like all external noise and have very high sound quality.  can get decent ones for $60-$120 and they'll be better than bose and apple too.

if you've got flac files, do yourself a favor and go test out some decent headphones at a shop somewhere if you can.  even if you can't then just take the jump and buy some without the test.  i'll be happy to offer any additional alternatives.  just saying... bose products are like the "england's darling roy hodgson" of headphones and speakers... highly endorsed and and massively rated by the media despite there being no real reason to be... fire your roy and hire your kenny  ;)

Haven't purchased one, but tempted to!!   :wave

A commemorative mug brought out to celebrate the Royal wedding has one slight flaw - the wrong prince!!

Beaming out from the side of the mug, alongside Kate Middleton, is her future brother-in-law Prince Harry.

On the back, an inscription reads: "The fairytale romantic union of all the centuries. 29th April 2011."
It's not clear whether it is a gaffe, a deliberate spoof or a very clever marketing ploy.

The mug, supposedly designed by a Chinese firm Guandong Enterprises, can be purchased for £9.99 plus postage and packaging.

"Crafted in the finest bone china, it features an exquisite design of the happy couple with ornate gold detailing to honour this great moment in history," the company boasts on its website.

"Please be our guests to own this esteemed, limited edition heirloom to celebrate with your work associates, friends, family and loved ones on 29th April 2011."
The company adds hopefully: "You are welcome to purchase now to avoid disappointment and regret."
The small print states the firm's products "are not supplied to, or approved by, Prince William of Wales, Catherine Middleton or any member of the Royal Family."

A St James's Palace spokesman admitted he was aware of the unusual piece of memorabilia but declined to comment.
