I honestly don't think it will need to be four games for us to win the title - I can still see City dropping points before we kick off against palace. The Chelsea kick off for them at 12.30pm (we kick off at 5.30pm) I think will see them drop points, and don't laugh, I think United could take points off them too the game before. I can't believe what a fortunate position we are in and it is still only February!

There is literally zero chance that both our game against Palace and City's game against Chelsea go ahead that weekend as either us or Chelsea are guaranteed to have an FA Cup match instead.

Walking casual to the title. Chasing the treble.

We have now matched the United 1999 treble team points (79) with a better goal difference (47 vs 43). In February! Mind-boggling...

I see Brendan Rodgers is still struggling against the top 6 teams.

This is all a bit mad. We've all been dreaming and stressing for 30 fucking years, and we win it by basically winning every game and there being no title race whatsoever. Madness. Love it!

One of the few doubters left I see! You show me that game 3-4 years ago and at 1-2 down after their 2 shots I'd be sure we lose that game and probably turn it off. Yesterday however I saw there's still 30 mins left and thought: let's go, that's a lot of time to score 2-3 goals.

I remember during the height of Pep's Barca people were saying having all time great players come in through your academey in multiple positions and stay loyal was the ultimate fan dream. Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Puyol and to a lesser extent Pique, Valdes and Pedro all came through for minimal to no cost and played together to win every possible trophy. It was the pinnacle a football fan could conceive of for their beloved team.

Or at least I thought it was until this Klopp team. While the Barca first eleven was more talented on paper than our best first eleven, this fact just makes what we are doing, inconceivably even more impressive than Barca.

Having everyone in this club, from owners and directors to scouts, managers and coaches to the first eleven and squad in every position and to every red fan in the stadium all dialed in together combining to will the team to win, not just trophies, but nearly every single game we compete for going on a year now is honestly better than what Barca did. The collective spirit coursing through every inch of this club at the moment is simply more fulfilling than (you can't help but argue) lucking out on several star players coming through the academy.

To understand the game, desconstruct all aspects of it, including the nebulous emotional parts and bend it all to our will to the degree Klopp's Liverpool has is now the pinnacle of football fandom and I'm honored to be witness to it.

Assuming that you've copied that from the Football 365 piece from 2 weeks ago and tweaked some of it? you need to tweak the 1st stat as we've got 79 points now, not 76.

i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

They don't turn up anyway.
I know they don't I just thought it funny that it was pointed out by the media.

Think we needed that last night. Bit of a reminder that any type of complacency will be punished, and forced us to raise the tempo nicely in preparation for upcoming games.

Can't wait to see Sterling give Gomez a guard of honour.

Everton, City, Arsenal away are the stand out games for the unbeaten record. All 3 teams will fight tooth and nail to defeat us.

It's strangely addictive counting away how many wins we need after a win
if I came home to allison in bed with my wife I'd ask him to phone Virgil to see if he wanted to pop round too.
