That's great news. Still highly unlikely we'll see him properly until next season, very often the case that something else goes for a little while even if the knee is back to full strength as the body kind of overcompensates and puts more strain elsewhere.

It’d be good if he just got some minutes as a sub towards the end of the season. That and a full pre-season with friendlies should see him, hopefully, available and ready for next season.

Love the lad, always joking about and in high spirits. Really happy for him to be back as i'm sure it will have been really hard being out, especially with how well he was playing at the time and missing the CL final, World Cup and a Title challenge

Obviously can't be rushed but I can't wait to see him back

Incredible news! Thought he was a little further away than this. Brilliant.

https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alex-oxlade-chamberlain-brink-liverpool-15912429

Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is on the brink of making his eagerly-awaited return to action after 11 months on the sidelines.

The England international is in contention to feature for the club's under-23s in Premier 2 over the coming week.

Fucking amazing news
Maybe the group, led by your leadership, will see these drafts as PR functions and brilliant use of humor

I guess it will be well into next season beifre we see him at his peak.

And what peak will that be?  Klopp conastatky says there’s been no reaction form his knee.  Maybe this is a good sign? Maybe it’s a good sign that he’s moving as normal formmthe start?
Let’s hope so for his sake.

Only at Fulham hopefully. Don't want him anywhere near the pitch against the filth that Dyche manages, and Spurs are very capable of being dirty rats too.

If he plays against Derby on Friday is it realistic to hope he’s back for the first team by the end of the month? Gives him the best part of 3 weeks to gain match fitness, he must be itching to get back on the pitch.

The're yard dogs at all levels. Everyone remembers Funes Mori and Holgate but there is also the lesser known Ryan Ledsom who was a renowned yard dog before moving on.

Think a good use of him would be as a 60 minute sub for Gini in the champions league if we make it to the quarters and semis. Keeps Gini somewhat fresh for the league games and allows Ox to come back in under slightly less pressure in games which also suit him.

Cant see that happening. I imagine it will be fortunate if we get him some sub appearances. Maybe he gets a run out against Wolves? Dunno but March and April seems far too early.

Klopp said a few weeks ago he could possibly play in the quarters if we reach them (9/10 and 16/17 April) - he's been ahead of schedule every time and getting his first minutes under his belt on Friday so maybe this isn't too optimistic.

Possibly and it would be nice to add another option. To be honest though we have to dampen expectations on him a bit. As Klopp said himself, the focus is on his long term career and not the here and now. I get the sense people are desperate to have him back expecting some high level from the start.

I reckon he'll be ready for some first team minutes soon after the international break. Imagine if he appeared almost ready to go in the next weeks and Southgate named him in his squad  :lmao

For sure. I can see him being named on the bench v tottenham actually if all goes well next few weeks. What a cheer his name will get when it's read out btw.

You were right, some horrible tackles last night.

Only reason one of theirs escaped a red was cos the ref didn't see the incident.

If he's only doing 70% first team training right now I can't see him being ready for Spurs. I'd guess it will be April before he's on the bench.

He's doing full training, he's just finishing early to do injury/recovery specific training (I imagine more fitness work, probably also some strengthening work on the knee, etc).

Given there is an international break after the 17th you're probably right it'll be the end of the month/start of April before he's on the bench though. Guess how he comes through the game this week will determine things.

Just putting it out there folks, this Chamberlain story is mostly about generating clicks.

We all know Klopp's ways. He'll bring him back very slowly and carefully.

Next season.

Klopp doesn't give a shit about clicks. His comments are what they are.

He's playing for the youth side this week - no way he doesn't make an appearance for the firsts this season.
