Its getting into the ground now though isn't it? Read something on here about the Palace game and players getting slagged off and called c*nts.
That might have been me who wrote it on here

It did get like that after about 65 mins, but again, not sure you can blame RAWK.

I don’t expect Liverpool fans to cheer us on, doesn’t really bother me either way, as others have pointed out, each person will have their own reasons for who they’d prefer to win it.

My only gripe is claiming all Arsenal fans wanted to City to win it over Liverpool. I can tell you that certainly wasn’t the case for the Arsenal guys on here, and for a few Arsenal fans I know. The fact Liverpool could win it through being such a well run club against City actually gave me great hope that it actually can be done.

People will have their own personal experience or interactions of that time of course, but it certainly seems different from mine.

I don't even mention our derby wins to my blue friends or neighbour. It's just another day at the office. I smile to myself on the day, then move on. The Bitters will be going on about last night for the next 50 years.  :lmao

Tell me again who's the big club.  :)

That's the one concern for me. They're all mates who've got history of giving jobs to eachother and family members. Giving total control to Klopp and Ljinders was obviously a big blunder, giving total control to Edwards and Hughes would be a blunder as well. He's in a position of extreme strength of course given we threw the kitchen sink at bringing him back.

Might be, but I choose to believe it's not the case, because I'd rather not see Edwards & co as idiotic shitheads.

Did you miss the leaking of poison to the media when Rodgers was here?

Just in case anyone doubted that the BBC's chief football writer Phil McNulty was not a bitter blue (remember his recent online slip)

It was 39 years to the night since what is widely regarded as the most famous evening in Goodison Park’s history when Bayern Munich were overpowered in the European Cup Winners’ Cup semi-final.

This win, of course, does not even touch that significance but this will be a night Everton fans will remember for a long time and Liverpool will want to forget – and if they do forget they will find plenty of a royal blue persuasion happy to remind them.

Exactly what I am saying yeah. They play in a 2 team (3 at a stretch) league, where they have all the ball, they are a huge fish in a small pond, have an elite midfield and with Mbappe also coming on board will also have an elite attack running into spaces TAA can find.

With us, playing to his strengths lessens the impact of other players, and we are so one dimensional, results in him trying Hollywood passes when it's simply not on. To me he looks a player who has been indulged (to his own detriment), and suitors for him would be an extremely niche market.

He is a niche player really, an in between kinda player, and the system needs to be adjusted to suit him. Or else he plays right back for a side who has all the ball, and allows him to ping his passes, and can cover his deficiencies when caught out of position. Valverde would be the ideal guy in front of him.

Fair enough, well explained and there's definitely parts of that I agree with. He could be a formidable force for them.

All I would say is that he's simply far too talented for us not to find a place for him in the side, even considering the potential imbalances he causes. I think we've already stepped up a gear in possession since he's come back into the team, compared to the previous few games at least. He's a chance creation machine.

That's why Richard Hughes is the Sporting Director, you can't level the same throwaway remarks at him that you do for Edwards.

We keep talking Edwards as if he is the only one making decsions at the club. He doesn't want that else he would've taken the SD role back. He has gone higher up the chain and is looking at the overall philosophy of the club.

I thought Richard Hughes was the Sporting Director because he is Edwards mate?

He certainly doesn't have a track record of success or appointing managers like Scott Parker and Jason Tindall.
