Playing league games with 10 men and Europa games every Thursday, gonna be knackered by October at this rate!

Impressive start though, really liking the football he's got them playing too, pressing and attacking well.

Only conceded 3 goals in 8 games (Europa League and SPL combined).

Celtic's inactivity in the market might just be a glimmer of hope for Rangers. But on paper, it should still be Celtic's title. One of the cups is almost certainly up for grabs though.

I made this point earlier, about Gerrard having to contend with the differences in the Scottish league. Rodgers has been outspoken about these pitches as well:

I like them for youth levels simply because it means less games called off for rain, but for the top level, I don't think we've reached the highest level needed from artificial pitches to fully replicate the "give" that you get from proper grass pitches.

they knew two weeks earlier it was a possibility so should have already got it in the works after the first leg, can’t have much sympathy for them as they were likely trying to delay getting it in the hope they didn’t need one

Think you might be right PoP, Celtic quite rightly are still favourites. There's a bit of discontent in the camp, but they still have the more proven team overall. Think Rangers might prove to be more solid in defence with the additions they have made but they don't really have someone really in the attacking midfield quite like Rogic or Callum Mcgregor or the depth in the striker role like Celtic have, & i think that will prove to be the difference between the 2 teams.

I do expect them to compete a lot better with Celtic though, & you just never know.

In any case, he is many years away before the possible clash of styles is even likely to be a consideration since Klopp isn't going anywhere and the club wouldn't hire Gerrard on the basis of a season or two at Rangers either.

Still never been behind in a game yet, which is a pretty good stat in itself.
