Does that mean the lease is sorted and you'll be open for all the Sunday games now?

Happy days :) signing of the summer (although the free pies with unrelated donations welcome day was a bloody good idea)

Had a beef stroganoff pie and a cheese and onion pasty yesterday.  Both lovely.

Last year, their stock levels were a bit shit, to be fair.   You'd get something before the game if you didn't leave it until the last minute, but they were always out of most stuff after the game.

They've obviously learn't some lessons from last season on how much they should be producing per game, or else they're cooking more stuff during the game to make up the used stock etc. as I had a choice of most things after the game yesterday, which was a pleasant surprise.

I paid about £3 for two items yeatserday, and both were very tasty.

Compare that to the £4 plus, you pay for a cheesburger from one of the mobile vans over the road, who then syphon the cash out of town, or giving a local business my hard earned, and I know where I'll be shopping.

Excellent food, at reasonable prices, and the money stays in the local ecconomy.  ---  Winner every time.  :thumbup

A couple of things to bear in mind -

For L4 locals or those getting coaches from near the ground- the bakery is open from 7.30 am this Sunday morning selling a full range of pies and snacks for your journey to Wembley

They will also be selling pies on the concourse / platform at Lime St from 7.30am - in coordination with Global Scouse Day they will also have scouse pies and blind scouse for veggies.

Also

This Thursday pre-Augsburg they have a Klop-pie -  Peppered Steak, Potatoes, German beer, capers and gherkins.

Try and support if you can - the pies are great quality and very filling and the proceeds go towards a great social enterprise and good jobs in L4 paying a living wage and other worthwhile initiatives in the area.

Try and remember this - you are buying more than a pie.

Going to home baked is just a part and ritual of going to Anfield now. Love the place everyone should go. Hope there's more local initiatives like this encouraged with all the new developments and outlets going on.

Yeah, I've been before all the europa and league cup games this season. Glad the klopp-pie is back as it's fantastic.

This is true, but it's still one hell of a pie.
