Just seen his interview on SSN.
He stands there and has a go at a young referee for a good minute or so, then at the end of this rant he has the hard neck to turn round and say "It's not the ref i want to be talking about, he just wants the spotlight, and that's not how it should be, we're not talking about the performance of my team which i thought were terrific".
What's that Neil? You don't want to talk about the ref? You reckon he just wants to be in the spotlight? Solution - Talk about the referee in your post match interview and give him more attention.
The man is a fucking moron.
Another thing, how can Dermot Gallacher sit on SSN with a straight face and say that the penalty Michael Oliver gave Villa wasn't actually a pen? Huh? From where i was sitting Agbonlahor had a clear back post run on Armand Traore only to be halted because the defender pulled his shirt for a good couple of seconds. How in the name of fuck is that not a penalty? It's clearly giving the defending team a huge advantage if any kind of shirt pull isn't a penalty. If Agbonlahor had gone down straight away, would that have made it more of a penalty? So i'm sat there waiting to here Dermot's explanation as to why it wasn't a penalty, and what he's come up with is 'It's just one of those things that happens in football?' Oh i see! Just one of those things is it? Well that explains it then, it's just one of those things that happens in football! That makes total sense Dermot and doesn't seem unfair whatsoever.
