If he’s not hit that it’s a bonkers review.

Edit: Hitting middle stump 2/3rds of the way up.  What were the NZ batsmen thinking there?

No reviews for Kano and Ross. Silly boy.

to be fair I don't think the atmosphere at any ground would be all that raucous at this time of the morning.

Yeah wasted review - yet again, how many times have we seen it in this tournament?

Yeah wasted review - yet again, how many times have we seen it in this tournament?

It’s almost like it’s been a tactic to let the openers review anything and everything in the hope of getting away with something.

I don’t understand it if that is the case, I’m sure all teams used to be better at using their reviews than this.

Too many people feeling “entitled” to be there.  I thought it was an ICC event rather than an ECB/MCC one, so I’ve no idea how the usual toffs and bores have blagged tickets.

Good analysis from Ian Bishop about the lengths Archer is bowling. Reckons he can go fuller and target the stumps more

Yup. I’d have much preferred, as I said, for it to have been Edgbaston or O.T, or Headingley. I understand why it’s at HQ, but for sheer atmosphere any of the others would have been better.

England not quite at their best yet, decent start for NZ who just about edge it at the moment. Archer not found his line and length yet.
Really hoped for more wickets down at this point in good bowling conditions.

Bowlers keeping it tight at the moment though, current run rate is 3.62.
