not everyone uses the internet or would be inclined to watch football that way. MOTD still has it's place for the forseable future

Alright David Mitchell.

Agreed. I used to love Sgorio for its format even though I wasn’t fluent in Welsh. Just show us the football rather than tedious pundits. It’s great when they have a pundit who has done their homework and provides some insight, but that’s rare. I hope football highlight packages move towards more highlights and stats rather than opinionated agenda-driven cliches. interactive highlights would be interesting.
interactive/On Demand highlights are available on Sky if you are that way inclined they are available to you
However if something serious happens to them I will eat my own cock.

Main problem is, that MOTD late night show is on for 90 minutes, so you get all the waffle, the Morning repeat is far better, although it has less air time, you still see the highlights but with the studio analysis being cut

In its essence they’ve got a manager who is sub league two level.

The scrotum faced little quim has basically stripped them of tactical constraints and just let them attack as and when they want.

Woo hoo.

And as a result they are beating the shite that they were struggling against with Maureen’s turgid bus ball.

However. This loosening of the tactical shackles could well come back to haunt them when they face a team they can’t steam roller, letting players just express themselves is unlikely to be effective when they meet decent sides from the top half of the table
Utter nonsense!!!!!
You're essentially saying they are still shit.
In fact, you're not even essentially saying it, you are saying it!!
The results speak for themselves, or the Telecaster typy thingy does, no, it doesn't, it can't speak either, but Solksjaer is a man amongst gods, or vice versa, and he is leading Man Utd out of their extremeties just like Martin Buchan marching against Goliath.
I think I have said everything, [excavation mark, excavation mark, excavation mark]. To say otherwise would have the estimable Mr. Edwards twisting in his gimp-suit all night long to Lionel Richie's 'All Night Long'. On a loop. Both of them. All of it.
It is a machine. It is more stupid than we are. It will not stop us from doing stupid things.

Paraphrasing - "They have to stop conceding so many goals, go back to being solid at the back."

Well done Neville captain fucking obvious. Instead of making statements like that, you're being asked to provide info on how that can be done. So painful watching these two dickheads.

To be fair to Neville, he is pretty thick. I don't think he's capable of anything deeper than that.

I’m sure he said Harry Kane was the best striker in Europe, last night.

Good job that Messi feller is a midfield player

How come ‘in europe’ is the ultimate seal of approval for these guys?  It’s like they’re hedging their bets in case there’s some crack ripping it up in the Mauritian first division.

He tackles like everyone. Shoots like everyone. Has skill like everyone. Headers like everyone. Free kicks like everyone. Technique like everyone.

The man's got some kind of deluded warped opinion of himself, like he thinks he was a world beater.

You're Danny Murphy. Your claim to fame is scoring a free kick or two against United in your heyday. That's it.
He likes Rafa though, a lot. Loads and loads. Sam Allardyce levels of Rafa love he has.
You do have to wonder what Rafa didn't see in him  :( :-\ :boxhead

MOTD gets worse every time you watch it & used to be must watch, switched it off after our highlights. :no
When was it last a 'must watch'?
I remember in the 80s Lawrie McMenemy tipping off the League table which gave away the results of the upcoming games.
It is the BBC, what exactly do you expect?
Just be glad Phil Mitchell's not in the studio looking 'emotive' and kissing Gary Lineker everytime Utd penalty, with Bittersweet Symphony in the background boring everybody.

Fuck Auntie Beeb, she's a liar.

Was must watch in the Des Lynam with Jockey being one the pundits era, mostly as that's when SKY wasn't affordable[actually SKY still isn't affordable], & pre Internet, MOTD was the only option to see all the goals & the pundatary was kept to minimum.

Or just watch it for what it is, and has been for a long time. Which is brief highlights, brief interviews and occassionally decent but usually crap analysis.

It’s not like people are forced to watch it now, you can get extended highlights pretty much as soon as any fake finishes.
