They have a chance here to clamp down on it before it does become an issue otherwise it will just keep happening.

they should clamp down on it by removing the obvious flaws in the system which allow it to be abused. the same can be abused to 'bring down' league aways too, although probably not to a general sale.

they should probably reinforce their T&Cs too.

Anybody who's got 3 credits would have chose to buy this even if they allowed a mate to go in their place - Nobody would miss out on this one. Which is why the fact there were sales for 1 and probably 2 (or maybe a sale of today's size) an absolute travesty end of story

Ahh hang on, I’ve a feeling what it is. As the 2+ resale is happening tomorrow, they have probably temporarily deleted it from everyone’s accounts to ensure that no one can log in and basket a ticket as the system will think that you don’t qualify.

Just a hunch though so I could easily be wrong.

Rangers away is back in the purchase history so this mornings sale clearly had something to do with it.

for a sale like this deffo makes no sense to have a queue, but also if we're talking fairness the link to the hallmap should be changed each sale. that 5 seconds gap can really make a huge difference, especially for those not-so-good with technology.

Emails are hit and miss as some get them and some don't. Likewise signing or not depends on your postie, I always have to sign for SD's but I know that in other parts of the country, you don't.

Makes me wonder if it's convenient for some staff in the ticket office for this to be happening and for a limited number of people to be moving from zero aways to 1+ aways.

Both for potential final tickets and just touting for euro aways which I'd imagine could also be quite rewarding.

If they couldn't guarantee Rangers (2,637) to people on 3 credits out of 5 then they won't guarantee Ajax (likely 2,600 like Chelsea and Spurs have got there in last few seasons) to people on 4 credits out of 6. I think it will be 5 credits guaranteed with the vast majority of people on 4 credits sorted.
