Trent wins PFA Young POTY.
Rhian Brewster to score 10+ goals (all comps)
Alisson Golden Glove.
European Cup Winners (hopefully for a 7th time)
top 2 in the league.

City struggle to sustain the levels of the last two seasons.
We get less than 90 points but walk it.
Everyone calls us “shit Champions” as if every fucking winner in history got 95+ points.

We don’t give a toss and have a big fucking party.  I’ll see you there.

Treble next year - League, one of the domestics and Big Ears for the 7th time.

Trent to further develop and add a couple of goals to his already impressive assist tally. Us to concede even fewer than we did this season. Us to exceed 90+ points again and go to the wire with City.

Alisson will be excellent for us, but rivals will think he is bad because of that one mistake against Leicester or whatever

We won't win the Premier League

We finally beat Manchester United in the league

Sadio Mané to be our Player of The Season

Fabinho will take a little longer to settle. Maybe he won't.

We'll drop points against Wolves & Cardiff

Our squad depth will be often questioned

My sense of it is, we're starting to peak at a time when most of our rivals are at at the start (Arsenal, United) or end of their squad cycles (City with a need for a 5-6 player refresh, Chelsea, Barcelona, Bayern, Real).

I think we will start next season being comfortably in the top 2 teams in Europe and England, I think if we reinforce appropriately - AM/WF/FB/GK - we will come as close as we did this season to winning the league, or will win it. We will also go very far in the CL, and possibly win it again.

If we fail to spend substantially to further strengthen our team, we will fall behind City as City will definitely do so in the close season. If we spend substantially and put the huge profits we have obtained to good use to sign players who will further improve us now and in the future like Van Ligt, Neres or Werner, Ziyech or Aoaor, Joao Felix, etc then we will have an even better chance to get more points next season and win the premiership next season.

The ball is in your court, FSG. Invest strategically and make this team as close to being invincible as possible!

1. We surpass the 80 point mark and concede less than 30 goals in the league
2. Lallana has a (fairly) injury free season
3. Keita has a couple of minor injuries in a short space of time and somebody refers to him as the "next Sturridge"
4. We see Ox play a few minutes before the end of the season
5. Salah has a down year, still finishes as our top scorer, but with Mane close behind

Well done

I thought I had posted in this thread. I’m sure I posted in a similar thread

The only 2 things I remember was I thought we would get at least 90 points and I thought Mane would be the top scorer. Not sure if league or all comps

If we keep this side together, and there is seemingly no reason why we can't - I think we will be unstoppable in the league. Fabinho and Keita now both being settled in is massive for us, as is having Ox back. The team is a year older, a year wiser, a year hungrier. We will win the league before the last day of the season.

Totally agree with this.

No main player will be leaving this summer, we’ll add to the squad, and those 3 players you’ve mentioned will all contribute more over a whole season.

The first 3 months of the season are key. If we drop somewhere around 5-7 points or less by November we'll win the league.
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

We win the league. Fabinho is player of the year, front three get 25,20 and19 (not bothered who gets what), brewster has a breakthrough season, Trent ends the year as captain of England. Man City get knocked out of Europe at semifi als stage( as do we) we also win league Cup, which becomes jurgen 3rd trophy( not including charity shield which we also won) mancs finish 6th. Everton a glorious 7th.

Klopp converts Shaq into a ball playing CD just for giggles, and he forms a partnership with VVD that concedes 3 goals all season.

Henderson is nominated for the Ballon D'or, is still called Horrenderson for the bantz by rival fans.

Salah sores 50 goals in the league, still doesn't make Garth Crooks team of the season.

If Everton are playing at home as the same time as Liverpool have a match, their game will be abandoned if Liverpool are losing at any point so they can just show the game instead and their fans can stop booing their own players and show real support of whoever Liverpool are playing.

Milner takes warm weather training to a new level and runs laps on the surface of the sun.

Liverpool score a winner against Everton 3 minutes after the final whistle is blown. It is Pickford's fault.

Salah is taken out by a flying karate kick to the back of the head, and several in the media claim he could have stayed on his feet.

Fans of 'rival' teams who are convinced VAR will stop us, go ballistic when suddenly we start getting more freekick and penalties.

Klopp hugs somebody so hard we lose them for three weeks with a chest injury.

United go on an unbeaten run for the history books after buying all of the most exciting players in the world and finish 6th.

We'll go into the new season with Origi, Shaqiri, Lallana and Brewster as our main attacking options from the bench.

People will say that's fine because you can't sign anyone brilliant and keep them happy with not being first choice.

We'll finish second.

I think we’ll win it next year. City have peaked already just like Chelsea did back then when they were completely making the rest of the league look like a joke, which shortly followed a transfer ban (the first one). The same term of events will happen for city.

What we’re doing is going up the gears and then getting to a sustainable level which will hopefully be evident next season. I love how our club is righteous, we do everything cleanly and by the book with intelligence and passion for the great game, it’s family of supporters all over the world and it’s home Liverpool.

There’s a red dawn rising. A new dawn. I can see it on the horizon after last week.

We’ll win at least one trophy and finish in the top two.

Some on here will be their usual negative, whinging selves moaning about everything from the ref to pundits to not having a second or two more extra time. However, it’ll be drowned out by the majority loving a brilliant season.

Chelsea won’t win anything and neither will Arsenal.

Won a trophy and came second. Arsenal didn't win anything, but we can beat Chelsea in the Super Cup next month!
