Should we have one thread for injury updates? I tried to find news on Kolo, but wasn't successful. How long is Sissokho out for with an ankle strain?

Kolo has had his penis amputated. Allen has been shrunk in the TV room and Cissokho has donated his head, his hair and his toe-nail clippings, to medical experiments.

We await news on the magic sponge and will it appear and save us before Sunday, bloody Sunday.

True. There's also the bizarre forum trend of 'oh look, he's cracked a joke, I must crack the exact same joke but change a few words' that I can never quite understand. If the first one was funny, it has drowned out by the echos following it.

High ankle sprain. It's a bad injury, lets put it that way. Could lead to complications down the line for Glen and his tibia and fibula. Hopefully it's not as bad as they fear. Could be out until past Christmas.

A bad high ankle sprain is a footballers worst nightmare aside from a broken leg or a bad knee injury.

It's a sprain of the ligaments that hold the tibia and fibula together.

Depends what grade it is. A grade 1 sprain could be back within 6 weeks.

The fact that they are waiting a week before assessing it suggests that it is rather, quite swollen. Fortunately for Glen he will have been put in a compression cast straight away and will receive the best medical care from our physios but it isn't a good injury and is quite open to reoccurrence.

Depends on the grade I guess.  Some need surgery to fix as ligaments between the tib and fib tear apart.
If its grade I, then it could be only two months. Grade II or III may require surgery and will be out for up to 6 months

Spot on, two months is still a while though, nothing more we can do now. Just wait and see, like the club. We have Ilori, Kelly and Wisdom anyway. We will be fine.
