Hilarious find that mate. Where did you get them from originally?

They were passed on, unwanted, after being found in a loft in a public building.

Any advice on the copyright scenario, folks?

Id say that's from a derby at Woodison, player on the right looks like Brian Kidd, their 5 could be Mick Lyons. Wonder who Clem's just webbed in the nuts?

You've got a season, result, and a Scottish winger to go ;)

Think that may have been the derby where Dixie Dean died.

Well, I little research on my part reveals thats to be true - I hadn't been aware of that.  Hope you're resting in peace, Dixie.

Has anybody seen this before?

Have Tweeted (@hartejack) if anybody feels inclined to share.

Got a stash of old photographs here.  Touched-up originals, I believe (you can see marking/shading at certain angles).  Not quite sure what to do with them.

This has seriously spooked me out. Look at the back window of the car. Depending how you look at it it looks like some sort of Ronald Reagan mask looking off to the side or an old woman looking towards the camera. :shocked

I've got a couple of old books that have been signed by an awful lot of past players/managers ranging from Ian St John to John Barnes (time wise). Any ideas where I could go to get them valued in Liverpool?

this is going to make me seem really really sad....

The game is at Anfield - because there isn't any perimeter advertising; we never used to be big on that and it was all over Goodison like a rash. Everton wore that badge for four seasons 78-9 until 81-2 - but since Clemence left for Spurs in that final year it has to be before that. It looks like a springtime match - and the only two seasons we played them at Anfield in spring were 79 and 81.  Phil Neal had dropped the perm by 81, so it's 1979; 1-1 draw with Kenny scoring for us.

Sad as this post is, it's better than contemplating the 'performance' we put in today....

If you look carefully at the crowd, you will see that it is NOT the Kemlyn nor the Paddock and Main Stand.

It looks to me as though Everton are attacking the Gwladys Street ?

I see what you mean - I just don't think I've seen a picture of Goodison in that era without adverts. If that's the case  - and if it is a spring fixture - it would have to be 1980, the day Dixie Dean passed away?

I would say the top photo of 'Liverpool fans at Wembley in 78' is undoubtably actually Man Utd fans if you look closely at their red white and black scarves.

Definitely United and definitely not Bruges game. Their scarves everywhere, bottom left flag with Devils on and Doc readable, ie Tommy Doc. Could be early on the day at 77 cup final, Loads of man utd from London down early doors, Liverpool outnumbered on Wembley way, early on but I can't see any Liverpool in that picture all united scarves and dodgy clothes, Bruges where in Black and Blue in 78. Maybe united Arsenal 78/79? deffo not us.

I think the 2nd pic is Clemence saving a penalty from Jupp Heynckes in the 73 uefa final v moenchengladbach.

I dont think so cos that save was at Anfield. I think this game was the 76 UEFA cup quarter final first leg against Dynamo Dresden. Both this penalty save and the one you mentioned were outstanding.  Clem was the best.
