Was amazing to watch. Basketball is a game of runs etc. but that one today takes the biscuit. All in the 1st quarter.

I think at one point Indiana were on a 22-0 run, we couldn't make a shot for shit. We're averaging below 100 points a game, about 18th in the league. It has to pick up if we want to be a contender in the east, it's as simple as that. So little ball movement at times, it's painful to watch.

Veteran NBA referee Bill Kennedy has revealed he is gay after being the subject of homophobic insults from Sacramento guard Rajon Rondo.

Kennedy was confronted by Rondo after ejecting him on two technical fouls during the game between the Kings and Boston Celtcs in Mexico on 3 December.

"I am proud to be an NBA referee and I am proud to be a gay man," said Kennedy, an official for 18 seasons.

"My actions were out of frustration and emotion, period," tweeted Rondo.

"They absolutely do not reflect my feelings toward the LGBT community. I did not mean to offend or disrespect anyone."

The Sacramento player was banned for one game for his actions.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver stated: "I wholeheartedly support Bill's decision to live his life proudly and openly.

"Throughout his 18-year career with the league, Bill has excelled as a referee because of his passion, dedication and courage. Those qualities will continue to serve him well both as a game official and as a positive influence for others."

Kennedy, 49, has officiated 1,056 NBA games and 68 play-off contests, including five NBA Finals matches. He also worked at the 2010 World Championships and 2012 London Olympics.

He added: "I am following in the footsteps of others who have self-identified in the hopes that will send a message to young men and women in sports that you must allow no-one to make you feel ashamed of who you are."

Kennedy is the second NBA referee to announce being gay after Violet Palmer made the same declaration in 2014 upon marrying her long-time partner.

Jackson was a smart pickup by the Pistons, his pick and rolls with Drummond are a sight for sore eyes.
Glad they won, great game to watch. Just seems like the Bulls would be far better as a team if they let Butler be the main man, instead of Rose.

In case anyone likes watching 10 min highlights of NBA games, I'd recommend subscribing to "Ximo Pierto 2" on Youtube. He does a great job of initially posting up the 2-3 min game highlights, and a few hours later the 9-11 min full game highlights.

Jackson is turning into a very good player. Drummond has to be an all-star this year and the Pistons have got a roster that's more suited to Van Gundy ball this season. A dominant big man surrounded by shooters.

Yup, the Pistons look like a slightly better version than the Magic with Howard. Though I don't think I'm out of line in thinking that Drummond is producing at a greater rate than Dwight was at the same stage of their careers. What a beast of a player.

Read that Howard is not seeking a trade yet (yet the most important word here) and was unhappy with losing. Well, what if he turned up and actually played ball?

You can't be implying that Howard, one of the better paid players in the league and certainly the best paid on the Rockets, should somehow be expected to shoulder some of the burden for those losses?

You can't teach height, as the saying goes, but you can't teach mentality either.

Drummond is a heck of a player, just a shame he can't shoot free throws. Still worth remembering the Pistons have Jennings to come back too who can either provide scoring off the bench or be a useful trade chip after proving his fitness down the line. Things are looking a lot better in Detroit than they were a couple of seasons ago

Raps lose by a good margin to the Kings, this game was lost in the first quarter. Dug a huge hole we couldn't get out of, Lowry getting himself tossed when we were trailing by single figures didn't exactly help either. Massively disappointing to lose to a team as shit as the Kings

Not so sure it'll be a blowout but I think GSW will win. Irving is back, albeit recently so I'm interested to see how the Cavs match up with their full roster healthy

I think it'll be a risk giving Kyrie too many minutes. He looked pretty sharp against the Sixers but they are essentially a D-league team. Delly done well enough last year in the finals if I remember, I'd give him the bulk of the responsibility against Steph.

I'm hoping it's not a blowout because most of the games scheduled for today look terrible on paper. You'd expect Delly to play Curry quite a bit as he's a brilliant on ball defender. I think the Cavs have a chance, Lebron will want to put on a show this Christmas as the Cavs lost to Miami last year, hoping it's close right to the death and we get some offensive brilliance

to be fair only good thing about that game was the overyime, other games should be good.
Although Lakers-Clippers as last game is a very odd choice.

I am a Warriors fan and i think we can lose tonight.

Think there was like 160 points in regulation time in the Pelicans game, lousy offense from both clubs. Bosh was good and Davis can only do so much for this team, he'd be an MVP candidate if his teammates could be less shit. Only Anderson did anything to help bring the Pelicans back into the game.

Spurs and Clippers will probably win easy, the Lakers have been on every Christmas day for the past few years despite being shit for a while now. I know there's the Kobe factor this year, but they're a terrible basketball team who're only on because they're a big market team

Heat are a good defensive team, their games don't go over that much. They play at too slow a pace to rack up a lot of points, most of their offense is through halfcourt sets. At least that game is out of the way

Steven Adams starts, though he played about 1 minute of the first half due to foul trouble. Westbrook takes a crazy amount of bad shots

I meant in general, i thought they would utilize him a lot but the way things are so far, looks like new coach rather prefers a defensive presence there.

And damn, Adams looks like a porn actor with that new look.

Kanter gets his fair share of minutes I think, OKC's defense is shambolic really, Chicago are blasting them here

You're right Gerry, I didn't watch much of OKC this year but if they are defending like this, they are far off from being contenders.
New coach needs some time but looks like they are same old, they attack and defend individually, no such thing as team defense in their book.

The ease with how Butler just got right to the rim there... Disgusting lack of effort on defense, Dion Waiters isn't good enough to even play for Philly. OKC should be embarrassed, Chicago have 82 before the end of the 3rd quarter. Another terrible game here

Down 18 at home to a Chicago team who've lost 3 in a row and have the players criticising the coach, no chance these win the Championship. Durant leaves and this team falls apart.

Westbrook cost the Thunder dearly in that game. Shot 9-21 from the field, just 7-13 from the free throw line and had 6 turnovers. In fact every player except Durant was turd

Only the Spurs can stop this from being the finals. No team in the East is good enough to halt the Cavs over 7 and only San Antonio would have a chance against the Warriors

They can but I don't think they will. This Warriors team is still underrated as crazy as that sounds. If GSW are healthy enough throughout the finals then it will not matter who is or isn't fit for the Cavs or anybody else. I genuinely believe are looking at a team that will be looked back on as being comparable with any other team in history. I'm not saying they are better than some of the great teams from the past but I am saying that in a few years when we look back they'll definitely be mentioned in the same breath.

If Klay Thompson hadn't rolled his ankle before the game against the Bucks they'd be 29-0 most likely. A truly magnificent team.
