You won't get much sympathy on that count mate.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

good point. it looked a certain win to me at first then i ended up with radio city on wanting everton to win. shame on me.

bets that spring out to me this week are fulham at home. villareal away. madrid/valencia double. doncaster at home looks to be a good one, that got mentioned earlier.

we should probably stay away from away games in this challenge really

You say that but I really can't see past Norwich away to Tranmere at around 4/5? 4/5 should be the shortest we go, mind you. Will look into the mentioned games more after work.

You can get Norwich at 5/6 with Victor Chandler (anyone got an account there?). 1.87 available on Betfair (but remember to allow for the commission on winnings).

I have a suggestion for bet 1: Inter -1.0&-1.5 at Evens (1/2 your stake back if Inter only win by 1).

The only absentees for Inter are Lucio and Thiago Motta and you'd assume Mourinho would want to take a commanding lead to Russia for the 2nd leg. Jose has a 100% record at the 1/4 final stages of the CL and has already defeated another Russian side at home this season in Rubin Kazan 2-0.

This bet is readily available at most bookies, see here.

Why dont you do it?Its not that hard to do your own bit of research..Reckon a poll is silly because at the end of the day its your own tenner so bet it on what you want to bet it on..This should just be a thread were we post bets of interest that are interest.Singles/doubles rather then posting a whole load of teams and posting about youre 7 game acca didnt come in..As has been said above the whole point is to build it up over time not rush into bets as soon as you see evens..Its not the £10-£10,00 in a week..

Anyway, what are peoples thoughts about fulham tomorrow night?I know Wolfsburg have steadied the ship a bit fulham at home, will hopefully want to get a good advantage before they travel to Germany.1 win in there last 6 with 5 defeats is a bad run but you have to look at who they were up against.Away to united,Juventus,Spurs and hull last week with a very weakened team. Also at home to City where they just made two bad mistakes. There home record in europe this year has been amazing.6 wins and 1 draw, which was against roma, and even then they conceded the equaliser in the 90th minute..6/5 seems decent value for a well rested fulham side.Might cover it with Dzeko AGS aswell though just for interest.

Think I might leave that one alone. At this stage in the competition all the teams are capable of beating each other, certainly of going away and getting a draw.

Beat Sevilla 2-1. 3-3 with United, Beat Beşiktaş. Lost to Wolfsburg.

They were aided by some horiffic goalkeeping in Sevilla where the goalkeeper parried a long-range free kick into the net.

Beşiktaş had nothing to play for and they grabbed a 95th minute winner and the draw against United, although creditable, you do question it slightly when you consider United had Macheda and Owen playing up top and a back four of Neville, Evans, Brown & Fabio.

Inter -1.5 seems a good start, I can see them wanting to get a good lead to take to Russia.
__

Inter coach Jose Mourinho is set to employ an attacking line-up this evening as the Italians host CSKA Moscow in their Champions League quarter-final first leg clash, according to sportal.tv.

Mario Balotelli has once again been excluded and both Thiago Motta and Lucio are sidelined due to suspension, but 'The Special One' is clearly looking to take a first leg advantage on home soil.

Playmaker Wesley Sneijder will play in support of an attacking trident containing Goran Pandev, Diego Milito and Samuel Eto'o. Meanwhile, Javier Zanetti and Esteban Cambiasso will protect the back four.

It is a very similar formation to the one used at Stamford Bridge in the round of 16, when the Serie A leaders defeated Chelsea 1-0.

Below are the projected line-ups for tonight's encounter, which kicks off at 20:45 CET.

Inter (4-2-1-3): Julio Cesar, Maicon, Cordoba, Samuel, Chivu; Zanetti, Cambiasso; Sneijder; Pandev, Milito, Eto'o.

CSKA Moscow (4-2-3-1): Akinfeev; A. Berezutski, V. Berezutski, V. Berezutski, Ignashevich, Schennikov; Semberas, Aldonin; Krasic, Honda, Gonzalez; Necid.

If it is Inter on the handicap, I guess we might aswell go 'all or nothing' with -1.5 rather than -1.25 as for the sake of a 5er insurance if Inter only win by 1.

It's available between evens and 13/10 depending on which bookies your using.
