I honestly thought those last three or four minutes were some of the best I have seen in the history of Alan Partridge-related media. Irish Alan actually stole the show I thought and I am just wondering why Coogan hasn't attempted to play other characters himself in the past in KMKY, I'm Alan Partridge and Mid-Morning Matters? He is a brilliant impressionist, as seen in The Trip.

It took some comedy brain to come up with those few minutes, it was perfection on so many levels, the reactions all round when the look a like took centre stage, absolutely brilliant. It looked so real, it genuinely looked like a TV show going tits up live on the air?

Yep. The Partridge canon is rich and wonderful, but Irish Alan was up there with the best stuff.

Like Bravo Two Zero, it improves with each viewing.

They've been doing it for 3/4 years now and have covered virtually everything he's ever done.

Yeah

In the third episode, a figure can be seen from the upstairs window of Denton Abbey, which they have speculated is 'Eileen'. Also may be a reference to Noel Edmonds having a doll in the back of his car.

Or it could just be Alan using it as a sex doll.
