I'm going to go a different direction - if he's smart and hires actual real coaches (rather than his mates who need a job), then he could do something here. If tries to do it himself, then it's a shambles of an appointment.
Just goes to show how hard it is to break into the game in any meaningful way. No matter how many badges you have, or years of experience, as soon as an ex-player looks at a job, it's theirs, even if they have never dropped a cone or run a drill in their lives.
