Sitting on my couch, watching this with my dad as I was in 2005 and 2007. Hopefully he doesn't have to go out at half time to get more beers whilst I sit motionless and in near tears this time.

Ask yourself, is he likely to remarry before we are in another cl final.....

Who books a wedding on CL final night? ;D

I was hoping to have people round for this but I have a tournament in Prestatyn with my under-10's footy team over that whole weekend. I'm hoping there's a pub or something near by.

I've emailed Echo arena and they've said that they 'might' be putting on a screening but are waiting confirmation from the club.

Did anyone go for the Europa final a few years ago?

Still thinking the best option is to head into town early and hit a bar centrally

Go to the wedding and watch the match , idiot should understand or he is just a blouse already under the thumb

The church part will be over well before ko , worst case I’d bring the likes of a iPad to watch it on

Any wedding I’ve been at , all the men end up out in the bar if there’s any game on especially a big game

Kick off is 7:45, it'll be into the night time by then. At my wedding, I'd have been pissed off if people had left the ceremony/meal to watch a match, but the night do, who cares ? I'd have left the wife dancing with her mates and fucked off to watch the footy too. Did that at a mates wedding once, we all fucked off to the bar to watch MOTD.

In fact, most of the blokes will want to watch it, you'd think he'd try and sort a room with a telly - men don't do anything at the evening do except stand and get pissed anyway.

This is probably why the couple don't want people to get off to watch the game to be fair to them, as all the fellas will just leave on mass.

Having a Tele room is a good idea to be honest, perhaps record the game and show it after the evening do comes to an end?

Personally just going to get to town early find a venue and sit it out. Not paying to get into somewhere. Camp and furnace sold out. Bierkeller is 20 quid (not that I’d have gone there). Just a stroll round town few afternoon beers and pick a spot. It’ll be bouncing everywhere.

I've been watching the previous rounds in the Fly In The Loaf, so I'd prefer to go there and avoid jinxing it, but the semis were a bit shit as they seem to have jibbed off their HD channels, so it's tough to see what's going on on their crappy TVs.

Does the Head of Steam have a big screen or just TVs?

hmm depends on your definition I suppose.  Id say really big tellys.

Reason Im suggesting it is not an obvious footy pub but they do show the games. So it wont be rammed

Rule of thumb when travelling and wondering where to watch the match.

First, when you land there is usually a "visitor information" booth within the airport. Ask there. They may even call around for you to confirm. Also find out what channel it is on locally. It may be on in your room.

Second,  Check to see if there is an Irish or English themed pub in the area. Start there.

Third, ask reception.
Either we are a club of supporters or become a club of customers.

Got a wedding in the middle of knowhere, good mate from school.Asked if they would be sound me going out of the wedding to watch the final.
Emphatic no.
Either go or the wedding or watch the match is the scenario.

Advice??

My sister's getting married the 26th as well and I'm her best man.
She already showed me a picture of the venue where the evening party is to show me where we (my and 2 family members who are Reds as well) can watch the game on our tablet!

Nah, a corner behind the part where all the tables and dance floor are.
Note that the corner has nice seats and everything, I'm just glad I can see the game!
