Firmino played pretty deep on Friday, so I could see Oxlade-Chamberlain playing a similar role in this match. Perhaps just wishful thinking because I would rather not see him playing out wide

That's how I see it as well. Hendo/Milner seem perfect for the wide diamond mf roles...

Could be any number of things; someone else was even less fit so Kante had to step in, the injury he picked up against Utd wasn't that bad, Lampard was keeping his cards close to his chest, etc.

There's nothing in it, managers play it coy or even outright lie about their players all the time, it's nothing new.

Bit odd team but understandable taking into account the game on Sat. Maybe Mane will play thru the middle with Ox on the side or maybe just a little deeper in a no 10 role.

Either way, we should be to strong for Chelsea so let's show this on the pitch

I'll never understand the logic of resting players when there is a trophy up for grabs, the likelihood of the resting of a few players influencing our title challenge is minimal, yet could be the difference in a trophy
