Are they going to do sandwiches and things?

Pre match it'll be tea, coffee, hot chocolate and Bovril. Two or three types of soup with bread and assorted cakes. Maybe pies as well.
The sale of bread from the shop will take a bit longer, when the builder has finished a couple of jobs.

(Mods, please move or alter this if inappropriate)
Rise Up Update.

RAWK very kindly donated well over £1100 to help fund a commercial oven in this local bakery cooperative, which sits almost in the shadow of the Kop. That oven will be installed very soon, (building work needed on a ventilation outlet first) but meanwhile, we've acquired a large domestic oven as a stopgap. The "Red And White Kob" is on it's way!
The match goers among you will have seen us open pre-match, for tea, coffee, soup and cake for the last few home games.
Now that we're baking our own loaves, this week we're offering sandwiches on that very bread!
There'll be cheese, ham, or cheese and ham, also hummus and roasted peppers for the veggies among you, with an assortment of pickles and chutneys.
This weeks soups are Green Thai Veg, plus Tomato and Basil, both home made and of course, the home made cakes.
Call in from 1pm ish, to enjoy a warm welcome, somewhere to sit and get a warm and meet your friends. (Or take-away)  :scarf
I'll be serving the drinks, with a guaranteed smile, before legging it to my seat for kick off!

Sounds great! Hope I'll get there early enough for a cuppa tomorrow.

Do you open on non-matchdays? Might try to get some people to go.

Only match days at the moment, until the big oven goes in. Hoping to do lunchtime sarnies a couple of days a week soon.
Anyone's welcome to pop in any time, there's someone there most days. Hoping to be up and fully running soon after the new season starts.  :)

A million THANK YOU'S to fellow RAWKITES, who donated to the Kickstarter Campaign to buy an oven for HomeBaked Anfield, the community bakery, just across from the Kop, on Oakfield Road!!  :wave
You'll remember, we were opening on match days last season, using a temporary oven, while we waited for essential structural repairs to be done. We managed soup, butties, cakes and occasionally, PIES!
Now, at last, we have our professional 3 deck oven, that you all helped to buy  :scarf and we're all set to open on 26th October, pre and post match, selling really great home made pies, soup, butties on our own bread, cakes and hot drinks.
You can eat/drink inside, or be served through our brand new pie-hole at the side of the building.
Come along and see us, enjoy the craic with fellow match goers (like me!) and help us celebrate the oven!
It would all have been impossible without you, so once again, great big thanks from us all at HomeBaked Anfield xx
