Just as in the first leg, you can tell Roma have been coached by Mourinho - constantly in the ref’s face, disputing every decision, writhing around on the grass after comings together; it’s ruining an otherwise close game.

Roma going out would be lovely. Wouldn’t want to have to face them again anytime soon.

I don't understand added on time now in Europe. Twice the ref before the 80th minute stopped play from an injury for at least a minute. Then there.was the head to head which took FOUR mins for llorente to get treatment and be helped off. Six more subs. Yet only six total minutes.

Lukaku has been badly let down by his teammates tonight. So many chances his created for them, for them to fall over, or smash it high, or fuck up the cross. Quite funny really.

F*ckin criminal... both the wastefulness in front of goal and that chickensh*t greek whistleblower. But that's how it goes... waste your chances and you'll most likely pay for it. Doesn't really help that one team is in "off-season", and sold their two best strikers in the last month or so.

Freiburg would be nice from that lot, but please not Roma or Qarabag, Qarabag would be a long trip to Azerbaijan.

I was going to say Freiburg too. Don’t know anything about them, they must be decent enough to have qualified but you feel it would be a short trip and we should have enough. Maybe we’d even unearth a new signing like when we played Augsburg and King Ragnar.

Sparta Prague would be nice too.

From a football point of view would rather avoid the Portuguese pair (although if it was a CL tie we’d be fine about it). And would rather avoid Roma in particular and probably Marseille too for non foootballing reasons. And chuck in Quarabag there for the travel.

Nothing to fear though, although no absolute walkovers.

Great win for Union last night. The two goals they scored were class.

Yeah, good team even though they weren't great against us in either game really. Probably would have gave Benfica a game as Toulouse ended up doing. Probably one of the favourites in that competition actually seeing as they've done well in Europe and domestically these past few years. Couple of players worth looking at too if they don't end up at Brighton.

Would make the winner of Ajax/Villa favourite to win it. Villa should go through all things considered I think, the Ajax team is very average and a lot of the players are unrecognisable. Fiorentina and Lille worth a shout too, the latter getting to the final last season.
