I hope he doesn't. Rossiempiere's favourite player has to start on the right.

Even Rossi "I love Dirk" has to agree that for matches like this he's the first on the teamsheet.

Was thinking similar. Not only has Adam had the run around in Spain but Hendo brings more pace into the team. I do think we will employ a midfield three of Lucas, Gerrard and one other. Spearo has a chance as well.

Pepe
Kelly Carra Agger Enrique
Lucas
Kuyt Hendo Gerrard Downing

Don't want Henderson near this one to be honest. Not because I don't think he will be a good player but this is just not a game he should play. Dirky must start.

just got a feeling he will, maybe because he has started every league game bar 1, and because kenny will think he needs hendersons legs against man utd.  its really tough to pick a team with everyone fit, i just got a feeling there will be a surprise in the team somewhere with either spearing, henderson, or bellamy.

kelly                     carragher              agger                   enrique

    kuyt                            gerrard                         bellamy

                                      suarez

think there would be a really good solidity and workrate from that team, as well as very good off the ball movement and fast passing, with the options of carrol, adam, downing, johnson from the bench as positive substitutions.

Highly unlikely. With everybody fit and raring to go and Downing and Kuyt in somewhat better form, not to talk about Gerrard itching to start, i really can't see Henderson starting.

i think spearing is massively underated, fantastic workrate, sets a good closing down tempo, and is a good passer of the ball as well.  i thought 2 of our best performances last year was city at home and fulham away and he was quality in both.  i'd like to see us protect the defence well in this fixture and prevent the fast counters from rooney, hernandez, young, nani, wellbeck, valencia etc, i just think we will get caught with that if adam plays.  the pressing from off the ball with a passionate crowd behind them from spearing, lucas, kuyt, bellamy, gerrard, and suarez would be awesome.

Spearing can do everything Charlie can do, except set pieces, but to be fair, Jay has had much at set pieces, so we dont really no what he can produce, but he is certainly more mobile and energetic than Charlie.

just read the LeBron James tweet, there is no way the NBA's biggest star would be in Liverpool this weekend by coincidence, especially given the relationship he has with Fenway Sports Management, looks like he will defo be at Anfield on Saturday

Personally, I am not sure about Charlie Adam starting. But, I am getting a strong gut feeling that he is going to score. I also had a similar feeling about Andy scoring against the bitters and changed my avatar and sig before the derby in his honour. Lets hope it works again, eh?

Can't see a draw. First team to score will win I reckon.

Spearing can do everything Charlie can do, except set pieces, but to be fair, Jay has had much at set pieces, so we dont really no what he can produce, but he is certainly more mobile and energetic than Charlie.

Can Jay score goals?

So everyones fit, considering who were against Kenny will play the strongest team he can, be interesting to see what he thinks to be our actual best XI is then.

------------------Reina------------------
Johnson Carragher Agger Enrique
------------------Lucas------------------
-Kuyt----------Gerrard-----Downing-
-----------------Suarez-----------------
-----------------Carroll-----------------

For me.

I'm thinking we'll win 2-1.  Closer game than last year but I think it'll be Suarez scoring in the 20th, Rooney in the 42nd, then Carroll in the 78th.
