the one at the town end of edge lane, think its just called edge lane fish and chips, with an orange front.

i went in once and threw my chips away after a bite, place was fucking horrible.

lived in Kenny for a year and we used to go to Rainbow on holt road, thats not too bad just seem to open and close at random times

Oh yeah am onto yer now, thats further up Kenny than where I used to go. It does look a bit of a shithole that one though.

I still go the Golden Rainbow on Holt Rd meself, lovely chippy that is.

We don't have that many nice chippys in Kenny, really. I go to Wongs who do fit crispy beef in some sort of Oriental sauce, but that's about it.

Jimmy's is nice, but the Welcome is nearer to the kid's ma's house. It was a welcome change (excuse the pun)

The food outside Anfield probably tastes alright once you've had a few bevvies... Most food does. Can't say I'd ever want to go up there for something to eat any other day though.

yeah i'm the same, I do have fond memories of the "No necks" chippy a.k.a Luckys on Stanley rd. Been in there many times bladdered and hunched my shoulders before asking for food, god they must have got sick of that one!!! For those who don't know the chippy the clue to the gag is in the title!!
