The red card was the decision of someone unsighted and punishing the result of the challenge.
Moss had a clear uninterrupted view, there's no excuse for calling it wrong.

This isn't a game anymore after that dreadful sending off. There was no intent whatsoever to injure the keeper, it's an unfortunate accident and never ever a red card.

Anyone who thinks that it was a red card is either an idiot, is being contrary just for the sake of it or is someone who has NEVER played football at any level.

It is a foul. That's it. If Mane had backed out of that I'd never have wanted him to play for us again because I'd label him a coward. He had every right to get the ball. At no point does he look at the goalie, if he wins that ball it is a 1-1 game. Is he supposed to back out? No, he isn't.

Fuck off John Moss. Prick. We're playing catch up now early on in the season due to a fucking stupid referee.

THe defending wasn't terrible at all, we were about even in the chances department until the sending off. Just thinking though that all the pitchforks will be out now for Klopp not playing Lovren.

Personally think it was a red, and also think Mane could have gone for it with his head and taken the risk/reward of being wiped out

Defending has been atrocious. Salah needed to bury some of those chances early on rather than trying to tap them in. Moss has ruined this game though. There was no intent. I doubt Mané sees where Ederson's head is. It was a horrible accident, rather than Harold Schumacher redux

For all that the red card will take centre stage, I think worse was the foul called against Henderson in injury time.
Just tackled someone, didn't even go to ground. At least Mane it's arguable, but can't see how Hendersons was a foul at all.
Think that may have given City the possession from which they scored as well.

I first noticed this against Watford, and decided it was far too early to judge. Maybe it still is, but it's not too early to say something.

Salah has been less than clinical for us.

Anyway this one's done. The pragmatic thing would be to rest a couple of players for Wednesday, although that wouldn't send out a great message.

A really poor decision and we were certiainly more than holding our own . Salah has had exactly the same chance in 3 of the 4 games this season and hasn't managed to put one of them in , that one on one was one of the two big moments in the game sadly none went our way . City usually go to town in situations like this so a few more wouldn't surprise me ..fucking John Moss

Zero chance it will get rescinded when it resulted in a nasty injury. Whether it was a red card offence is irrelevant, the FA won't overturn it.

red ruined the game - personally I think we were very unfortunate, the keeper was miles out on his area and there was no malice or intent.

Jesus is one hell of a player. We need a lucky break to get back in to this game just to even be competitive.
