he's got that habit of scoring random shots that deflect off defenders' shins

He's even better at carrying the ball than I was expecting, so good at keeping the ball with his back to goal and finding the right pass to start a counter-attack. Love the way he dropped a shoulder and spun his man around the 53 seconds mark.

I don't know if it's a move or a trick but there are times he is running onto a ball and it looks like the defender will beat him to it with a sliding challenge but then Salah sorta flicks the ball or gets to it first and keeps possession. Most of the time a defender who slides in wins the challenge but Salah (not always) has a knack for beating the sliding player. Looks Messi like.

I think I know what you mean. He slows a little before touching the ball away and going up another gear while running.

I would pay cash money to see Mo Salah v Tony Hibbert. The humiliation would be delicious.

Some great Salah numbers on the twitter feed AIunderpressure

He's been elite for 2+ years and could still be improving. He also "finishes" above expectation and has been unlucky so far with us so look for that to change
Incredible signing

I don't think he always operates at full speed which is a great ability to have in itself. Sometimes he runs or dribbles fast enough just to beat the defender but you always feel he could go up a gear if needed. You know those balls or crosses that get deflected towards the corner flag or look like they are going out for a throw in? He must rescue three or four of those a game, and each time I look and think 'that's going out', but then I see Mo running for it and then all of a sudden he's kept it in with ease.

His speed is astonishing, especially over a relatively short distance.

He scored the harder chance today he just needs to find some more consistency in his finishing, but that will come. Well done Mo keep it up.

He's immense, don't really get the complaints about his finishing, the guy is well on track to be once again one of the most productive wide men in Europe. He's on track for 30 goals in all comps which is just daft, dont think he'll get there with rotation and knowing our luck injury but he'll piss past 20.

I fully understand where you're coming from but he really doesn't need to find more of anything. All he has to do is just keep doing what he does which is probably impossible at 6 goals in 8 games kind of ratio but in this team considering how often he gets into good positions it really looks like he'll get up to 20 league goals even though he's not even a striker and that would be more than we could ever ask for.

4 times he has played 90 minutes in the league this season so far. Scored in every one. Only 2 games he hasn't scored for us in the league were City away when he came off at HT and Palace at home where he came on for the last 30 minutes.

Crazy for wide man. Even crazier is he should have scored twice as many. Just imagine if he improves in front of goal? We could have a 20 league goal wide player. Hell, with Sadio, we might have two of them !

Exactly, usually wide men score 10 or less (all comps), this guy is on course for over 20.

Yeah, he's getting more confident game by game. Hopefully will peak in our next home game and keep it at that level for a few years  ;)

I love him but feel we may have even got a bit lucky missing out on him the other year when he'd only impressed in Switzerland. Looks like the move to Italy has really improved him, and he's come to Liverpool at a great time in his career. Could be a lot like Mane spending a couple of years at Southampton after we'd supposedly not buying him a few years back.

Can easily see both him and Mane getting 20+ goals this season as I think those two act like strikers in this team.

He is really tearing up the PL. If he stays injury free (knock on wood), he will easily reach 20-25 goals. Now that Mane is back, I reckon he'll be in the goals next weekend, too.

I don't mean it negatively I find it exciting that the longer he is here, the more prolific he will get especially under the manager. I've no doubt as he continues to work with the team he will get a lot better than now, and his scoring will get even higher. He is doing very well for a first season.
